Days of Our Lives - Tuesday, 2/14/12

Today's summary came out longer than I thought it would. Tried doing it in a word document while watching live so I can copy and paste when the show is over. Everything is grouped in subplots so the events aren’t necessarily in the same order as shown on tv.

A bonus for newer viewers…..Sami and Carrie go over a lot of history that caused the bad blood between them. (I’m really liking Sami’s hair straight and feathered at the tips.)

EJ & Nicole are in bed, and he’s kissing her legs. (YUK!) He asks her if she knows what day it is. She says Valentines Day. He says he was only thinking that it was election day. (fake out) EJ has flowers and a necklace for her. She stands, drops her sheet, and they jump back in bed. They have to get to the polls. At the square, a lady hands EJ her baby named Eric James but they call him EJ after him. (GAG!)

Lexi & Abe are at Jennifer’s. Abe gave Lexi earrings, but Jack & Jen agreed there would be no pressure today. When Lexi leaves, Jen tells Abe that someone counting the votes offered to guarantee that Abe wins. Abe aks why he would do it. The guy doesn’t want EJ to win. Jen tells him he has time to decide. Lexi comes back in, & asks what he has to decide. Jen says Abe’s tie. Lexi says he picked a good one.

Will meets a guy at Horton Town Square, and they go somewhere with more privacy. Will tells the guy that he’ll be protected. Guy says he’d rather hear that from Mr DiMeara. Will says hearing it from him is just as good. (No clue what this is about. Not what I was thinking was going to happen )

John gives Marlena a butterfly bracelet to symbolize a new beginning. Says he’s sorry about Stefano trying to tear them apart. They discuss the Hope / John past while under Stefano’s influence. They’re going to Alamania in 2 weeks. More talk about Stefano, and not under estimating him. Make out session follows.

Chad gives Melanie a valentine in the square. Abbie walks up. Chad leaves to get hot chocolate. Abbie says she meant that Chad & Melanie should date. Melanie tells her she doesn’t want her to get hurt because of Austin staying with Carrie. Chad comes back. Abbie wants to be forgiven.. They hug. She says that he & Melanie make a great couple. Abbie leaves. Chad asks Melanie to go to the movies for their first date.

Austin wakes Carrie up with a rose he got from room service. (Did he really have to say that!) He goes to get chocolate croissants for breakfast. He says he loves her (in an awful French accent). Sami comes in, calls Carrie a *bleep*, and slaps Carrie’s face. Accuses her of hiding Rafe under her bed. Calls her a homewrecker, slut, and liar. Sami accuses Carrie of throwing herself at Rafe and trying to seduce him because he is her husband. Carrie says Sami will find out who the real *bleep* is. Carrie starts about Sami having Austin move in the loft. They argue about all that happened in the past . ( Getting in bed with Austin, faking Will as his, saying Carrie& Austin had infertility problems.) Sami says Austin will leave Carrie. Austin walks in asking what’s going on. He tells Sami that he & Carrie have moved past it. Sami says he’s insane. He tells her to leave, She’s not going anywhere. Tells Carrie to tell her to her face that she’s not in love with her husband (Rafe).

While Austin was gone from the hotel room………..Abbie runs into Austin in the square. Says he owes her an apology. She said she saw him kissing Carrie, and doesn’t understand. He tells her they’re working on their marriage to make it stronger. She said she isn’t sorry because it was the most wonderful night of her life. He tells her he doesn’t want to lead her on / deserves someone to make her happy. She says he does. He says he loves Carrie. She accuses him of using her, and runs away. (She said they made love. Abbie is definitely one sick chick.)

EJ runs into Abe. Gets a text, and leaves. He meets Will who tells him he told Sami he saw them having sex. EJ grabs Will, yelling at him. Then grabs him by the face saying Nicole better not find out. They sit down. Will says she won't tell Nicole, and tells EJ about Carrie & Rafe kissing and Sami kicking Rafe out.

Nicole in a stone tunnel on the phone saying it can’t happen because it will cost EJ the election. Doesn’t know what that person should do. She’ll call back. She joins EJ. Says everything is going as it should.

Abe tells Jennifer that he can’t cross the line. She said she knew he wouldn’t do it. Lexi comes up. Abe says he was telling Jennifer how much Lexi’s faith in him means to him.

You know, it is one thing for Abe and Jen to get the questions early. It was underhanded but whatever. It is a completely different story to defraud the election results. I will be very disappointed if that happens.

Austin, Austin, Austin. *Puddle shakes her head sadly**. You know this isn't going to end well right? You should just fess up to Carrie now.

Oops never mind. I missed the part where Abe says he can't cross that line when I read it the first time. My comments about Austin still stand.

What a great garden path scene with Will, way to fool me, Days writers, lol.

Thanks for the summary, Squirrel. I've had a very long day and don't know whether I can stay awake to watch tonight. Have a full day tomorrow so may have to catch up later in the week. I appreciate getting to read the summary tonight.

You're welcome, OC. I have a new appreciation for what Poirot does for us. Doing the summary while watching wasn't easy. I know I missed a lot of the dialogue. I heard Sami say Mike Horton's name while fighting with Carrie, but missed what she said about him.
