Dear Ann Landers......LOL, o.k. tis a day of advice asking, giving, as various Salemites seek the help of family & friends. Abby falls asleep with her laptop, dreams of waking up, finding a sprig of lavender on the pillow next to her, calls out for Chad, goes downstairs, finds a few more sprigs on the stairs, opens the double doors to see Chad & Gabi having sex on the sofa. She screams NOOOO, then wakes herself up. She looks at the pillow, goes downstairs, telling herself it was a dream, this is reality, hesitates, throws open the double doors, to see Chad all alone, working with his computer. She talks to him a bit, he thinks maybe arranging everything connected with the vow renewal is too much for her, she says not, she is fine. Now she is going for a walk, he offers to go with, no, he is busy,. tis fine. In the foyer, she calls someone to meet her.
In the park, Abby sits on a bench, and brother JJ shows up. She talks of Chad not being over Gabi, she cannot be sure of him, if he is still in love with Gabi. JJ delivers some very sage advice. is very kind as he does so, telling her that she needs to give Chad some time to prove...mentions she is doing as their dad did. Unable to believe all is well, always thinking the worst will happen, etc. They both miss him, he has missed so much of their years of growing up. JJ makes a lot of sense, she thanks him, hugs.
Gabi has met up with Eli, they chit chat, laugh, his phone goes off, she recognizes the signal, he plays Catch a Critter. Evidently this is a game like....Pokemon & they both go wandering around to catch the major Emoji or something. JJ happens upon them, Eli goes for hot chocolate, JJ asks if she is dating Eli, she says none of his business. He just wishes her well, cares about her, mentions Lani, Gabi wonders why the PD doesn't have a rule about fellow officers dating. He responds it is good they don't otherwise Rafe would not be able to date Hope. touche'. He says he still cares what happens to her, again hopes she is happy. Leaves. Eli returns with the chocolate, she begins crying that there is no marshmallows in hers, carrying on stupidly, he realizes it, knows something is bothering her, she won't talk of it, so he offers to help take her mind off it. And off they go hunting emojis. LOL
Theo arrives to see Chad, needs some advice about sex. Awkward, but good conversation. Chad suggests they play chess while they discuss whatever the problem. Theo is hesitant, but knows the hows, but is worried about timing. He tells of Claire wanting it, Ciara interrupting, him not being too sure it should be now. Chad talks about love, commitment, being sure, as they play. Theo wins a game, then Chad does, realizing tho, Theo let him win. Theo figures he owes him because he saw him, let him confide, etc. Theo finally leaves, thanks Chad, hugs.
Ciara comes into the Pub, Roman is bartending while Caroline is in CA. She is meeting a guy she met with a dating ap, Roman teases it used to be called a blind date. They chat a bit, the guy is late, doesn't sit well with either Roman or Ciara, but he eventually arrives, a flower in hand, as he did not want to come empty handed. The two sit, start talking, find they have a lot in common, they laugh, talk country music, concerts, Roman watches. She goes to the bathroom (guess it is not called ladies room any more) which gives Roman the opportunity to talk to Wyatt, mention that Ciara has had rather a rough go of it, and he better treat her well. He tells he is her uncle, and Wyatt will answer to him if he hurts her. Wyatt assures him he has the greatest respect for her, Roman says yeah, that is how Ted Bundy talked. Wyatt says "who"? Roman tells him to google it. LOL. (gee, not EWE search, hahahaha) Ciara returns, oh, wow, Wyatt is a Cub fan, too.Later on, Roman says it's closing time, Wyatt wants to see her again, she agrees.
She goes home, runs into Theo, tells him haltingly about her date, and they got along, he asked to see her again, she said o.k. Theo is happy for her, says goodnight. Wyatt texts her that he had a great time, cannot wait to see her again.
And up to Canada where Hillary is demanding to know just who Scooter thinks "Bridget:" looks like. Brady pops up with Nik having the kind of face that reminds folks of others. Scooter then claims Lori something, a math prof he worked with. Hillary can't see it. Well, Hillary wants more sangria, and she & Brady leave the room, giving Scooter the opportunity to be even more of a sleaze, telling Nicole he covered for her, now what is she going to do for him, caressing her cheek. She pushes his hand away, admits she did porn umpteen years ago, says Brady knows, but she is just a housewife with kids now, has a different life, talks of his wife and what would she say. Well, his wife has not "given him any" in a long time. He pesters Nik, insisting they make a date. Brady & Hillary return, Hillary figures they should leave, wanting to get together again, perhaps at their place. Finally they are gone.
Brady starts to chatter, then realizes Nicole is upset, and she tells that Hillary's porn addicted pervert of a husband recognized her as Misty Circle, & that she admitted she was. She did not want him investigating further, learning Misty Circle is Nicole Walker who stole her own child, is on the run.....she breaks down. Brady is all ready to set the guy straight, will take care of it. She says no, she thinks Scooter will lay off. He talks of moving somewhere else, she says no, but agrees they will if the guy gets out of hand.
Brady goes to hold her, she tells him not to touch her, she knows he wants to comfort her, she wants him to, but knowing how he feels, he just should not. Brady knows she doesn't feel the same way, claims he has enough love for the both of them, not to worry. He holds her, she rests her head on his shoulder, closing her eyes.
