I'm in total agreement on Hope's constant fooling with her hair! It distracts me so much because I start counting how many times she does it in one scene.

Seems like a lot of actresses do that in scenes. There was a young woman on the Bold and the Beautiful who was always fussing with her hair. It drove me nuts. I wanted to write to the hair department and ask them to use barrettes or bobby pins to clip it back away from her face. On other message boards, people started calling her the "hair-flipping twit".

I think it's deliberate, most of the time. Preening is flirtatious, initially, but enough is enough!

I'm no specialist or anything, but in the real world, I'm pretty sure a teenager, or very young adult like Ciara, wouldn't be hired to work at a facility like Shady Hills just like that ! Did anybody say "contrived" ? So much so that this is beyond ridiculous.

Here it would depend on the facility. If its low level, and made up of people who self-admit, then I can't see it being much different to a nursing home - and they are pretty much run by young people and recent immigrants with no other skills, which a manager who has medical training and then other medical staff who do rounds a couple of times a day. I think there's a basic course you need to do but I'm pretty sure a private facility would have that as part of the training.

If its a high level facility where people are sectioned involuntarily by the court (extremely difficult to get done), or has incarcerated criminals being treated, then I'd imagine it'd be a no... and that's what Shady Hills seems to be, since Abby is now a risk to herself and others she'd be a good case for being involuntarily committed, and Chase is currently on remand.

BUT, since its giving Ciara something to do other than hurt Theo and moon over Chad, and its going to force her to face some of her demons (aka Chase) and get some story progression I'm willing to overlook it. I reserve the right to revoke that if Chase and Ciara end up a couple, while I want him to have a slow, careful redemption arc, I do not think its believable that she would ever be comfortable in a relationship with him.

Kind of a boring show. More of the same ol' same ol'. I wish they'd do more with Blanca; why haven't they learned their lessons from Jordan, Serena, Paige, even Billie in 2012? And I don't want her with Rafe. Put her with Dario and let Rafe be with Nicole.

And yes, Abigail's mask-wearing is silly if she has no burns on her face.
