Days of Our Lives, Wed., Nov. 18, 2015

I don't like Bo going around telling people (even just Rafe) before he discusses this with Hope. Does he want her to find out from someone else so that he won't have to say a word about it?? Not nice. He's waiting for the right moment? Maybe it will be as he slumps down and his heart stops beating? Dumb...c'mon Bo....be a man!!

I found the lovemaking scene today between Bo and Hope way too rushed. Hope is way too traumatized to be moving on so quickly. I will say however, that at least the sex scenes do not seem like a porn show the way they did with the previous writers, for which I am grateful.

Heather, if the bed was replaced, they did not mention it on screen, so it's probably the same bed she just slept in with Aiden . Hopefully the sheets will have been changed:sick:.

I found it a little weird that Bo went to Rafe and wants him to look after Hope when he is gone. Who asks someone to move on with their wife after they are gone? I still think Rafe and Hope are too far apart in age. Just recently Rafe's age was established to be mid to late 30's (as he mentioned he was 16 when his father took off, Gabi was a baby or a toddler and she is 22-23), which means he is only a couple of years older than Hope's son Shawn. Yes, there have been other pairings that were much worse, Kate/Rafe, Kristen/Brady, JJ/Eve, but most of these were just flings except for Brady who was just an idiot. Rafe and Hope are being considered a serious pairing and I just don't see it. I don't mind him being there as a friend.

I am still not liking the new Ciara. I don't like the way she's pushing her parents together without realizing her mother needs time to adjust to what's happened to her.

I did think Theo's reaction to finding out he has a sister was pretty good. He needs time to adjust but I'm sure they will be close in the future since they have already hit it off and both enjoy baseball.
I do like that Caroline is on so often now! But why isn't she (or Theresa) mourning more over Will? Strange...and does Bo even know about his death yet?

I'm more upset about the fact that Sami is not mourning the loss of her son and is more concerned about finding EJ and revenge against the DiMeras .

:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

I also don't like this pairing because I really want Rafe to have kids of his own. But then since Hope just slept with 2 men in the same bed in less than 24 hours, she's probably pregnant with a miracle baby.

Heather you asked if Bo knew that Rafe loved Hope because he her a cup of tea. I believe the answer is yes. As they say if you can't say it out loud, say it with chamomile. If that wasn't a saying before it is now because I just made it up. I've always wanted to do that. Rock on!

Seriously did wonder how the heck Hope's bloody wedding dress ended up back in her bedroom? I mean she removed the dress at the hospital when they checked her in? So what idiot brought it back. I couldn't help think of that scene where that cop assured Bo that Hope would return to clean house then we saw the blood-stained rug was still there. Which made me thing one of two things is going on: 1) The forensics team are REALLY lousy at their jobs or 2) the DiMerras are paying someone to torment Hope because otherwise what the What?

Hope found her bloodied wedding dress in the bag. She was in the bloodied nightgown/robe at the hospital.

Hope had taken off the wedding dress and had put in on the mannequin. She was wearing a negligee when she was attacked. So it never left the bedroom.

I do agree that the forensics team and the clean up team did a lousy job though. Blood stain on the carpet, on the door (it was very obvious the day before), etc.

Sorry, JS, we typed at the same time.

Okay that makes sense. I don't know why I was thinking that Hope was still in the wedding dress when the attack occurred. I guess I just blanked on the fact that she and her ill-fated "hubby" had some "discussions" just minutes earlier. But then again don't we wish we could forget that?

And that very smart, intelligent attorney thought that killing Hope on their wedding night would not cast the slightest bit of suspicion on him? A groom who conveniently leaves the house to "get something from the car" (and how long does that take, a minute or two). and who recently was named beneficiary to a large insurance policy, plus, as husband, would inherit other funds of hers? A man whose first wife supposedly committed suicide?

And for all that trauma that Hope endured, her daughter is pushing her parents to get married again, less than 24 hrs later. ???

Well, I guess Hope needed to hold on to something solid, and Bo was there.

I don't think I know any women who would consider even sleeping in that bed!

Ciara needs to dial her mouth back a bit; her final comment as she flounced out the door was disrespectful.

I have no words for my dislike of teen Ciara now. I'll give the actress time to grow, but I really hate her dialogue. When she's not pushing her parents back together, she's bashing Aiden, a man she admired and loved her mom with for "aeons." She should be confused as all get out now, NOT pushing her parents back together.

And in case anyone has missed it...Hope slept with Aiden and Bo within 24 hours. It is still the day after the wedding in Salemland.

I really want Rafe to have kids of his own.
This pops up on boards and twitter periodically and I'm not sure why having blood kin is so important to so many folks. To each his own, I guess.

Frankly I'd love Rafe to couple off with a girl and help raise her prior kids (à la Sami) or adopt a kiddo (either on his own or as part of a new pairing). When was the last time a major character (successfully) adopted a kid? 1990? In a town with a statistically staggering amount of paternity switches, serial killers, miracle pregnancies, mobsters, criminally incompetent DAs, and troubled teens, is an adoption story that far-fetched? (That being said, I vote NO to Rafe/Hope.)

When Rafe was dating Jordan, he told her that he hoped to have kids of his own one day. I think there was also some excitement when Sami had her cancer scare as I believe she initially thought she was pregnant with Rafe's child. So, it's not all fan driven. The character has mentioned it as well.

I do understand the need/desire for him to have a child that's not connected to another father/parent, though. He had to share Sami's kids with Sleaz-EJ, and Lucas, so no matter how close they became, they weren't "really" his.

Frankly I'd be just as thrilled if they brought in a hitherto-unknown teen fathered by Rafe prior to coming to Salem. That could be juicy coupled with a potential raising-a-dead-guy's-kid-as-his-own story. (A teen child of Rafe's would also add some much-needed DNA to the teen scene.) It would also cement Rafe as a "real" citizen of Salem and give him a reason to interact with John and Abe in the "surprise Daddy" club. :)
