Good morning everyone & happy weekend! I cannot seem to wake up this morning, but it's off to work I go for a short (LOL) 10 hour shift.

Good morning NC and everyone yet to check in. I'm up early to finish some laundry before Target / Sam's Club shopping with a friend this morning. We'll work in an early lunch in between the two stores. They're a 1/2 hour away, and I like to get my frozen items at Sam's right before heading for home.

If I could figure out how to put a picture in here, I'd post a picture of the bat that my friend Jim posted on facebook. For my fb friends, let me know if you can see the pics on my wall.

@ NC - I wondered where everyone was until I saw that you were starting the thread. Have a good day at work. Hopefully you don't have any crabby customers today.

Thom's best friend died very unexpectedly this week from an apparent heart attack. He was 51 and leaves a 14 year old son. Today is his funeral.

Good morning everyone. Been a very crazy week at work. So glad to be off the weekend. There have been emergncy meetings going on for the last 3 weeks about the staffing problems in the Women's Health Mission of the Hospital. (Obs is part of the Woman's Health) The only thing they will tell us is that changes are going to be made because of the staffing issue. They had thought of some idea's, but will not tell us what any of them are. They will just let us know the plan once it is decided. Oh they did till us it would not be reducing any hours. (LOL ya that would really help we are already short staffed) I just have a feeling that whatever the plan is it will not be well liked. I just don't like the fact that they will not tell us what any of the idea's that were rejected are. Today I will be going to Anna's house to work on the 20 hours of education creidts that is needed now to have our nurses permit renewed. (It is a new requirement starting this year plus the price of the permit went up 60 dollars) We took educatonal books from the March of Dimes. You study the book and answer questions to get the credit. It was 155 dollars for the books.

A quick hi and bye this morning as hubby's home this morning and needing the computer. Will catch up with everyone's post later.

Good Morning everyone. All is well here, just windy but mild. It was 44º this morning and will probably go up to 48 later. Sorry for you all who have to work over the wekend and also the ones that have to work such long hours. These days I guess you're lucky to have a job.
We are having friends over tomorrow for the game and it will be fun. Hope you all have a good time too.

@ NicoleMarie ~ Oh, how I remember those days! I truly believed I would NEVER again get 8 hours sleep . . i.e. 8 hours all in a row! . . . . not 8 hours spread out over the course of a week. Hang in there. It will get better. Grab as much sleep as you can when the opportunity presents itself.

Good afternoon. Sorry you have to go back to work and leave that precious little one, NicoleMarie. I wish all moms could stay home with their babies--at least the ones who would like to. Hope she is letting you sleep some at night. Otherwise, getting up for work will be tough.
Newt, enjoy the game with friends tomorrow. We don't watch. My husband, being from NY, used to be a huge Giants fan but I guess he got tired of watching alone, since I never watch sports, so he lost interest a long time ago too. It's a big day for lots of people though.
DJM, I hope the upcoming changes at work aren't too burdensome. It never sounds good when they won't tell you any of the ideas.

Squirrel, too bad you can't post the picture but I'm not having too much trouble picturing in my mind what that creature must have looked like with mousetraps on each wing. Not a pretty picture! Hope you enjoyed your shopping and lunch.

It's partly cloudy, windy and nippy here and I am very happy to say we were able to sit in our pickup and watch while the 2 cowboys and 1 cowgirl worked our cattle this morning. Hubby still struggles a little with letting go and leaving someone else to handle it but really, I think he enjoyed watching too, and I had no reservations whatsoever, just thoroughly enjoyed being out of the loop. It is a pleasure to watch these guys at work. They make it look so easy! It's obvious they love what they are doing.

At the beginning she definitely was not giving me and Chris enough sleep but we got... "shifts" worked out and I think I pushed a few of mine onto him anyway! But now we're getting better. It's going very well.

Glad to see you've got yourselves on a good schedule....time will pass on this soon.
