Horton Ornament & Christmas Music Countdown

Every year I look at these ornaments and think, "Who would put those horrible things on their tree??" They really are the ugliest ornaments I've ever seen. The tradition is nice. It's too bad when they started it, they didn't select some pretty ornaments.

I don't think it's so much the look of them. But the fact that they hold sentimental value. Most people aren't artists and most handmade ornaments, or homemade anything for that matter, are very rough looking but still mean a whole heck of a lot.

See we need more of that on these newer episodes. If only for Christmas, NO DRAMA! I should start a petition.

Silent Night - 1989

Horton ornament question:

Some "Days" fans may remember that it was discovered last year that several Horton ornaments have been re-used for newer ornaments. Do you know whose ornament Will replaced??

You could have still gotten a free guess. :)

Horton ornament answer.

Today's question was: Whose ornament was Will's originally? The answer is Peter Blake, Jennifer's husband. His ornament was shown only once, in 1995. In 1998, it became Will's.

The snarky person inside wants to ask who was that woman snuggling up to Maggie. It didn't look like Dr. Dan the Tan Man, or her amazing child, the mermaid Summer. But I won't.

I know you're joking, but for those who watched the clip and didn't know, the girl standing next to Maggie is a teenage Sarah (her daughter).

The writers certainly don't recognize her. Or acknowledge her.

I'd like to see Julie's brother return with his multi generations of new blood, but that isn't going to happen.

I'll find my rock and climb back under it.
