If it weren't for Will right now I would not have a TV because I would have thrown everything I own at it. Thank God someone is saying exactly what I want to say to Sami. You know how that just never seems to happen in TV. Like when people on TV walk through their front door but don't shut it behind them, or when someone has a perfectly good explantation for what they did but they don't open their mouth to tell it. Finally someone is opening their mouth and speaking.
Will has become one of my favorite characters. I love his facial expressions, his fighting back tears, and his inability to hold back his emotions. This guy should get an Emmy!
I find myself saying, "oh no he didn't just say that" and then I'm laughing hysterically at what he did say because it's the truth. LOVING IT!

I agree with both of you. Will's scenes are one of the few I don't FF. Oh, how I love his choice words for his oh soooo selfish mother. When he is on with Sami, I swear I am worse than a sports fan. I cheer more for him than I have ever cheered before. :clap:Fun little off topic fact : I was a huge baseball fan before we lost our team, here in Montreal, called the Expos (now the Nationals, in Washington). I used to wear my Expos shirt, and my cap, going to every local game in the bleachers. Hey. Maybe I should now get myself a "Go Will" shirt. :D

I can't stand that Will has become a person that delights in hurting people. I get why he is livid and I don't so much mind him telling Sami off and how he and the family has been hurt over it. But it's his glee over it behind Sami's back that is exactly like the glee that EJ and Stefano had when they sat smoking cigars and toasting that they put a rapist in Sami's bed that makes me sick. He's become a turd.

SarahBeth, I think you and I are definitely not on the same page. It is O.K., the discussions are that much interesting. And I do not mean to offend you, in any way. But while you see Will as a turd, I see him more as being so hurt, so disturbed, that he is now trying to get to his mother by hurting her back, when basically everything else has failed. I see a young man so sick and tired of Sami's selfish attitude that he now feels the only way she will pay attention to him is by him going off on her. And the sad part is... for a while, it worked. Sami did pay attention. But even when she realized what was wrong with her son, she still chose to let him carry the burden of her secret. She still placed herself first. But again, that is the way I see things. We can also agree... to disagree. :)

Ah but you bring up something interesting. I do get that Will is hurt and wants to hurt Sami. That doesn't bother me. She does deserve a good earful from him. That doesn't bother me. But it does bother me that Will is going out of his way making poor life choices for himself because they ultimately hurt Sami. Will's becomes a turd when his siblings and Rafe become collateral damage when he twists the knife into Sami then glees over it. That glee falls in the evil category.

All right, I get that. I see your point, I really do (even if I think evil is a pretty strong word). And I am sure, in the long run, Will is definitely going to regret some of his choices. Unlike Sami, whose remorse never lasts very long.

I'll say again, up until this regressed version, Sami's remorse was a constant, especially after Grace's death.

Will has lived for years with Sami's "mistakes"...with the parade of men she brought in and out of Will's life. She has dragged him from living arrangement to living arrangement, and finally, managed to make a good choice, a man who loved the kids, who got along with them all, whom they all loved and respected. A man who stood by her, proved over and over again how much he cared, protected her from herself, actually. And then, his mother, once again blows it. She almost blew it when she supposedly shot EJ in the head (which I don't think she did) and Will kept quiet.
His mother not only has done something to ruin her own life, but that of everyone in the family as well. She has now learned that her son saw this, and yet she is negating what she has done, and trying to put the blame on any one she can possibly name, just to assuage her own guilt. Whether Carrie, Rafe, her mom, Will...(probably will be after Kayla next because of the waltz lessons) anyone but herself.

I thought the same thing about yesterday's show, I was literaly yelling at my tv!

    :sarcasm:
Ian and Kate's scene - was pitiful, him trying to caress her face but not quite touching and Kate protesting too much but getting closerthanthis while arching her back, sticking her chest out and getting right close and personal (if you know what I mean). Ian speaking in lines from old Bogey & Bacall movies... oh pleeze

Madison's - did alot of talking to Brady but nothing came close to explaining why she lied about being married to Ian

Carrie, Austin and Abigail - scene with Carrie just barging into Jack and Abby's conversation and then insisting that she could help Abby... "tell me all about this guy, did he make promies to you?", what??? (Carrie can't take care of her own stuff), and have Carrie and Abby even talked to each other since her and Austin have been back?

For me it was just a bad day of watching Days all around... more of Will would have been better watching! :D

I normally wouldn't promote teens/young adults being sassy to their parents, HOWEVER if anyone deserves it, it's Sami Brady. Between her lashing out at Marlena, then making Rafe feel bad for kissing Carrie when she BOINKED EJ in the Rumpus Room at the Mansion I think she has it coming. A few years back when Chandler came on the show, I told my husband Sami better watch out, she might have met her match with Will.... I wasn't far off base! However Will has yet to drug anyone to get them to sleep with him.....
