Pity the poor people of Salem: no matter how much sand passes through the hourglass, problems always abound.

Amanda Howard: If only the sainted Love Doctor could have traveled back in time to operate on her. She'd have recovered completely in only a few days, with absolutely no scarring.

Doug & Julie: Instead of fretting over Don and Kim, they should have taken a nice cruise to the South Pacific. After all, as Shawn and Belle once demonstrated it's only a few day's sail from any North American port.

Rebecca & Johnny: Instead of ruining things with total honesty, Rebecca should have adopted Dario's policy: don't tell your spouse anything unless you absolutely are forced to do so.

Jenny: So she was confronting this Stanhope guy in '76. No wonder the current Jenny is so quick to confront people. Her character has been at it for decades, and old habits die hard.

Jennifer was only born in 1976! LOL

The recap is talking about Jeri Clayton, mother of Trish Clayton, who had David Banning's son, Scotty.

This brings to mind something General Hospital did for its 52nd anniversary - they did a flashback to their first episode with modern actors playing the classic roles, and then added in a storyline relevant to current characters. It would be cool if Days did something similar for its pending 52nd anniversary. :back:
