    Just to be clear, there's nothing wrong with using the Quote feature. That's why it's there. All we're asking is that people understand how to use it, and do so judiciously rather than quoting 10 sentences, only to add "I agree" (which happens regularly).

    The misuse of the quoting feature leads to bigger and longer pages. While most of us on DSL or cable modem will never notice a difference, lots of unnecessary quotes might actually double the page loading time for the site members who're still on dial-up modems or using services like AOL or mobile devices like the iPad or their cell phone (brave person who reads the forum on a cellphone, lemme tell ya...)

    Trying to keep everyone on the same page with the quote feature is just being polite, and we're all about being polite to others here, even while we're having beat-downs about the characters we love to hate.
