    My family doctor is a truly wonderful man. Whatever is going on with David is still beyond his ability to handle, however some good did come out of the doctor’s visit. He prescribed a portable nebulizer so that when David has an episode like Monday night, he can give himself an updraft treatment at home. Our doc is also NOT happy with the pulmonologist and rather frustrated with the lack of help from the specialist that he’s sent David to. Rather than try another pulmonologist, our doc is going try to get David into the Diagnostic Clinic at UAMS (University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences). The Diagnostic Clinic specializes in diagnosing and treating hard to diagnose conditions, rather like on the TV show House. Now we are waiting for the next appointment, hoping it’s soon and with the Diagnostic Clinic.
