    Look out KIDS, there is definitely going to be a MEGA EARTHQUAKE, and perhaps a VOLCANO ERUPTION in Salem...........Cause IAN. I am taking for cover
    as we speak...........This man is a person we are going to have to reckon with.........:drunk: How NASTY will this get? Hopefully, it will be with Stephano/Kate. :eek:

    If Ian is abusing Madison, I hope Brady finds out quickly and makes a move back to Madison........I love them together.......Seems to me they would be good for
    one another......I am EXCITED!!!!!!! :cool::clap:

    Agreed eweiner. Victor is either blackmailed, or duped into appointing Ian as CEO. Once that is done, Victor may find himself into full-time forced retirement watching Titan decline.

    Lowlife Ian appears to combine a unique blend of arrogance and ignorance. He appears to be on a collision course with Brady, a man quite capable of turning him into a quivering heap on the Salem piers, and, unfazed by the DiMera name, he's sniffing around Kate, a move that could put him at the bottom of Salem harbor. Viewers were denied seeing slimy Quinn getting what he deserved, but perhaps eventually they'll witness this guy terminated with extreme prejudice.

    I doubt it...I think it's going to be a completely different story line.

    Agreed, but Ian would make a great murder victim -- an unscrupulous rich guy who mistreats his wife. Ian discovered dead in a mansion or well-furnished hotel room would make for a far better crime scene than Quinn found lying face-down in an alley behind the day spa. For obvious reasons, EJ and Stefano are untouchable, but a transient character like Ian would offer the writers a chance to give viewers something that they'd enjoy -- a nasty, arrogant, and immoral character paying the ultimate price for his foul deeds.

    Yep. Just the other day, I was thinking that Ian reminds me of EJ at his most unlikeable. Lately, EJ has been acting mostly human, but apparently this show is not complete without an abusive sociopath.:sarcasm:

    "Who killed Ian?" could be a decent plot. They'd be no shortage of suspects: Madison, Victor, Brady, Stefano, Kate, or some other aggrieved person from his sordid past. The only problem would be how the identity of the real killer would be discovered. Bo, Hope, and the rest of the Salem P.D. are obviously incapable of solving a crime like this.

    If this wretch Ian isn't eventually crushed like the cockroach he is, the writers will have played fast and loose with the characters of Victor and Brady. Brady is the kind of guy who will beat an enemy to a pulp or maroon an old woman on an uninhabited island. How long does a man like this put up with some older guy who waves a cane in his face? Victor is the man who once kidnapped Stefano and withheld his medicines in an effort to extort control of DiMera Enterprises. Would he really tolerate the presence of anyone as the head of Titan who got the job by withholding key information? Ian can blather all he wants about his contract, but Victor has thugs in his employ who can permanently end Mr. Three-Piece-Suit's employment without recourse to any legal niceties.

    It seems they're gonna backburner Victor now that Ian is CEO. And we seldom see Maggie unless Victor and/or Daniel are on our screens.

    If Brady would only get over his righteous indignation at Madison, he'd see that the answer to the Ian problem is right under his nose. All he has to do is tip-off Stefano about Ian's obsession with Kate, and some DiMera thugs will ensure that the silver-haired cad departs this life in a manner too hideous to contemplate.

    Oh, not so fast! Madison's remarks/actions today towards Kate & Ian prove she is no push over!
