Evidently Ms. McCay had very serious surgery a year ago, then had a setback, and is still recovering. She asked a friend/relative to thank her fans for their support and prayers.

Peggy had serious surgery last year and then had a set back. Her doctor and the producers felt it was in her best interest to relax and recover. After 68 years of acting, Peggy is enjoying free time, although she really misses the studio. She been eating out, enjoying visitors, and spending quality time with her dogs, Ollie and Emmy. Peggy is aware of all of your comments. Her fan club is still active and I'll be mailing out June's packets soon. Love to all

How nice to have an update, Poirot. She is a lovely, feisty lady and I am relieved to know her healing process is progressing steadily. I really miss Caroline at the Brady Pub!

I am so happy to hear that she is on the mend and wishing her a complete recovery. I do hope that she brightens our screens again as Grandma Caroline. Peggy is certainly a woman of grace.
