Prayers for Jessica: update 11/12

A precious child of friends, Jessica, needs prayers for emotional shock and grief. She is 23 and just had a baby in October. She also has a 3 year old toddler. Last night she found her husband of 1.5 years had committed suicide in their vehicle after a dinner with extended family. She is on medication for postpartum depression. We are heart broken and she is devastated. Her toddler thinks "another daddy left me" as his father abandoned them. Thank you for blessing them with your prayerful and compassionate support.

UPDATE

Services are being held Saturday. I will be traveling up north tomorrow to help and attend with the family.

We have a meal-train set up at their church. Meals are volunteered through the 2nd week of December. We hope to finish out the year.

An account was set up for donations so she can finish this semester before looking for a job. And it gives her more time at home to spend with her new baby and help the toddler adjust to the situation.

Thank each of you for prayers. God is moving things along smoothly in all our efforts to support and comfort this young family.
