    Good Morning Everyone!

Happy to report that I'm 2.6 lbs down from last week. I'm trying to cut back on adding salt to my food and drinking water like crazy. Happy to see that so far it is working. Can't wait to hear from the rest of you!
    denny and Lil0 appreciate this.

@ JenLe ~ Good work!! Yes, that water consumption is soooo important. And I have such a hard time remembering to drink it. I appreciate your reminder that it makes such a huge difference. Keep it up.:)

@ aabbee ~ Hang in there. We all have those plateaus at times. I think our bodies are adjusting to the new weight, so I choose to think of them as good.

    Here is Lovo's report:
I am up 3.4 pounds from my 2/10 (birthday) weigh-in - the one where I got to my 50. Three birthday cakes pretty much did me in even though I gave away a lot of it.

An old friend from Austin will be spending today with me and we will finish up the last of the cake. Then I am giving up chocolate for Lent so that will help. I do OK with that as long as I don't try to give up more than one thing. I haven't seen this gal in 15 years so there will be tons of "Do you remember..."

I am sure you all had a better weight week than I did! But I'm HERE so all will be OK.

Barb continues to send me the posts from this forum so I am able to keep up with you all. I sure miss being there!

I am up 1/2 pound this morning which is a lot better than I was expecting! I really haven't been trying at all this week. Consumed several cookies at the church work party on Saturday. Will focus on WATER this week.

    Have a great week, all

I am soooo happy to say I am down 1.6....And tho it has taken a while, this is about 10 lbs. since last summer when I could not believe the weigh in at the dr. office. LOL. Like a turtle, just slow and easy....but hey..progress. I hit a spot, stay a while, and then down a bit, stay a while, etc.

It would be really hard for me to start on water, as I am such a coffee drinker, but only in the a.m.

I was traveling on a trip to Huntsville until midnight last night, so haven't weighed in this week. Not expecting much because traveling is hard on the diet, especially when you're dining with friends all weekend.

I'm up 1 lb this week :( Not surprising tho since I couldn't work out last week due to knee problems and then I woke up Wednesday morning with a ruptured blood vessel in my left eye - which means no contacts for me. Since I nearly fell down the parking deck stairs twice while walking to work, I decided that I better not try to work out in my glasses. I may end up breaking my neck. The eye looks much better today so I"m hoping in a couple of days I will be able to resume wearing my contacts and resume my workouts. I'm trying to decide now if I want to attempt a Tough Mudder's event but am definately going to start doing the training for it either way. For those who don't know, the event is a 10-12 mile marathon/obstacle course designed by British Special Forces. Looks extremely tough, but if my knee can withstand the training, then I hope to be able to do it in October - if I can afford it.
