Many happy returns.

Ron Carlivati and Sheri Anderson join "Days of Our Lives" as head writer and story consultant in the coming months, and "Days" fans have lots of returns in store.

Eileen Davidson will be returning to "Days" this fall in an undetermined role.

Alison Sweeney will be reprising her role this fall as Sami Brady.

Three-time Daytime Emmy winner Chandler Massey will be returning to "Days" as the thought-to-be-dead Will this fall.

Kassie DePaiva is back as Eve in October.

After almost a decade away, William Utay returns to "Days" as the dastardly Dr. Rolf.

Deidre Hall (Marlena) will be doing double duty again when Hattie Adams returns.

T-Boz (Sheila), of TLC fame, who played one of Hope's fellow inmates earlier in the year, is also returning.

Additional returns will be announced in the coming months.

Not looking forward to seeing Sami or Kristen again. Hopefully Eileen Davidson is playing someone else from her "family" of roles. The rest of the actors / characters listed could be fun if given good material.

Actually, I think all of the actors/characters could be fun if given good material. Most of the characters on the show have been ruined at one time or another by the writers and storylines.
