I'm not sure where to post this...
Did anyone happen to see (for me it was a matter of remembering, which I did not!) Ali Sweeney's (Sami) movie Second Chances last night?
I'm wondering what anyone thought about it.

Yes, I saw it, and it will be on again tonight. I loved Greg Vaughan as the injured firefighter. Ed Asner plays a retired fire chief. The two kids who were Ali-Sweeney's children in the movie were really wonderful. Want to know how refreshing it was to see a "love" story where it takes a while, and no one EVER just falls into bed with each other?
When their mom gets her hours cut at her job her kids (without her knowledge) decide to read to seniors at a retirement home, asking just $1.00 to read for an hour or so. Nice story. Enjoyed the movie.

I thought it was good! Greg Vaughn and Allison Sweeney were great, as well as the two actors that played Allison's kids! It was a sweet story. And it was nice to see Allison with a character that wasn't screaming and scheming all the time. She did a great job!

I am watching it now....I don't think it is that great. I love Greg Vaughn (Eric), always have. But the show is okay...not something I watch again.

edited to remove comments about actress....JS

I loved it actually teared up at the end (that is why I do not watch Hallmark movies that often). I thought they were both pretty good together.

Since I missed the first 20 minutes the last time, I watched it again. Well, most of it, as nothing else was on that interested me. (Fell asleep before it ended, lol) I can only repeat, I thought Greg Vaughan was terrific, as were the those two children. (I did not much care for that unshaven look on Vaughan, but his interaction with the kids was wonderful. )
