    The thing is you say this is what the writers want us to feel about Ian right now. If Ian does indeed revisit his relationship with Kate I won't like him anymore than I do now.

    What if?????????????????????? Ian? Stephano? ... Stephano? Ian?

    What is that relationship yet to be????? OMG!! Underneath that suave, sly. slimy, creature Ian there is a missing heart and soul...that of a long-lost DiMeara?? Surely it will come to surface that the REAL REASON he is in Salem is to receive the keys to HIS kingdom, HIS family...hidden all these years by Alice. She was the only one who knew and protected the secret to her grave that the name, Ian, translates from the Italian, Giovanni, to the English, Iani!! And Stephano finally meets his match!! His older (thanx to the writers) brother!

    Now that would be interesting and who knows? Maybe this is a direction the writers are going. If J.M. is looking to retire soon, this paves the way for a new Dimera and rival for EJ.
