Will Nicole have a big story?????

These writers, though, don't seem to understand/know what big or good story is all about.
It is time for the writers to "spread the wealth". They have a whole slew of fantastic actors, and I do think Nicole is head of the line there, and could really take advantage of what they have, instead of sidelining those who really deliver, and putting the late comers, inexperienced out in front.
 
I was just saying that Nicole should be used more, in the daily thread.

Here's an idea : Have Nicole stay away from Eric, who brings her down, let her be around Rafe more, around Daniel also (as long as he's the doctor and not the superhero). And let's have Nicole investigate Clyde. Maybe she could overhear a conversation between Clyde and Jordan, and Nicole could be the one to find out (finally !!!!) Jordan's secret. And if, as I suspect, it's about Jordan being used as an escort or being sexually abused, let Nicole help Jordan. And in the same time, resolve and correct the fact that so many people have very hurtfully, and wrongfully, called Nicole a "porn star". Oh, the wonderful scenes we could get.

And that's just a start...

Also : Bring back Jack and replace Nicole's stupid boss with him and have them both be great investigative reporters. I know I've said it before, but I think it's worth repeating. Have Jack and Nicole fall in love and be a perfect duo : with qualities and flaws, who could bring the much needed comic relief (but not stupidity, subtle comic relief), heart warming scenes and thrilling ones. And I would feel nothing but joy. And the added bonus : let judgmental Eric and Jennifer eat their hearts out. :clap:

Oh, I totally would love for Nicole to be front and center. I love your ideas TheWriter, except I don't really want Jack back because then JJ went through all this turmoil for no good reason.

I'd like for Theresa to have her baby...in jail, and Nicole steps in to help Brady raise the child. Later on if Theresa gets out of jail she'll think she's just going to take her baby back but nope, Nicole will win out on that one.

I also want to see Nicole doing more investigative reporting. They had a ton of potential for storyline with her fighting with Miles, but then dropped that in favor of her talking to him on the phone every now and then :rolleyes:

I'd also like to see JJ get a summer internship...with Nicole, as he also has good investigative skills and is torn between pursuing the music he loves and a career like his father had. There would be plenty of opportunity for conflict with Jen in such a scenario, and Paige might not be thrilled that JJ is doing something she considers "dangerous," especially if JJ and Nicole end up working together on investigating Eve's latest scheme (which I haven't figured out yet but it would make more sense than this lamebrained interfering with her daughter's love life business she has going on now.)

While I do get your point, I do believe that it would not be for nothing. In fact, JJ could talk to Jack himself (instead of talking to Paige, which I find ridiculous) about the turmoil he feels about Kayla's rape. Again, if Matthew Ashford (Jack) were to return to the role, this could bring some wonderful scenes. The actor who plays JJ, while not as experienced as Matthew, is quite good also when given the right material. Maybe even include Kayla also, and Jennifer in these scenes. And this time, Jennifer would do something (hopefully) aside from stalking Daniel (no more love between her and Jack, though) and concentrating on her own little problems/world.

But I went off topic. Sorry. Just saying that I think Matthew Ashford as Jack, and Arianne Zucker as Nicole, would be wonderful to watch together.

If alas, this can't happen (mostly because the writers won't let it), I'll take more Nicole anyway.
 
I would like to see a re-visit of Nicole & Lucas, this time without money involved since Nicole seems to not be as money hungry as she was in the past. Lucas really did love her back then so this could bring them both frontlined in a story while creating angst between them & Kate. That could then lead to Nicole investigating Clyde since he & Kate are close.
 
I noticed a lingering look the other day between her and Rafe. While I suspect that she'll soon be romantically involved with Brady or Daniel again (which I wouldn't mind), I'd like to see her and Rafe get together. With him as a cop, and her as a reporter, there is SO much storyline potential there! Maybe they can have a miracle baby, raise a family, get married, etc. Their chemistry makes them have the potential to be a super couple. I just hope they end this nonsense with Eric once and for all. The Boring Father needs to go back to Africa, or Colorado, wherever as long as he is away from Nicole.
 
OMGosh, I hope so.....she needs to be brought to the front of the line, but not on 5 hours a week. She is an excellent actress! I hope they could put Rafe/Nicole together, they have amazing chemistry together, and they both need a little happiness in the lives after dealing with the Dimeras and the Bradys!
 
lovin_safe, I agree Nicole needs a permanent love, but Rafe doesn't seem to have chemistry with anyone. Boring character, as far as any love is concerned. He has NO SPARK!!!!!:rolleyes::( ShaSha
 
ShaSha, There are as many viewers that will disagree with you, as there are that will agree with me. I have always felt that Rafe is more of a threat to non-Rafe fans then anything.

Rafe/Sam brought me back to the show 6 years ago and junior/Sami drove me away in 2011, Rafe/Nicole could bring me back in the future! IF Rafe/Nicole do get into a relationship I hope the viewers don't turn this into another Ej/Sami/Rafe war. Just my opinion.
 
There are some of us that have just never cared much for Rafe......not just Rafe/Sami. The character just doesn't do much for me alone or with anyone else. It has nothing to do with EJ or Sami.
 
I like Rafe, but I didn't see any chemistry between him and Nicole. I think they're good as friends, and I don't see why Nicole can't have both Daniel and Rafe as friends rather than it being one or the other.

I also think Rafe could be used more effectively. He's at his best when doing police work--I loved his scenes with Roman recently, and I think we need more of that side of Rafe.
 
I would like to see Nicole in a story line that brings back her baby who I believe is still alive. Considering it's EJ's baby (I am recalling this correctly aren't I?) and now EJ is gone it would be a good way to keep Stefano doing his evilness and trying to get his grandchild. Maybe Nicole and Rafe could raise it together, he deserves to be a dad.
 
Oh I think Rafe has plenty of spark. I think he was great up until he and Sami broke up during the Will is the father story. I think tptb sacrificed any good story for him when they went lock, stock and barrel of crap. They put him with a new character and never wrote any sort of compelling story for her so he's been dragged down for a long time now.

If tptb do put Nicole with Rafe they need to have a lot of friendship scenes together first. The thing is I would prefer Daniel and Nicole because they both clearly have deep feelings for one another and have held back.
 
I agree with the above post: Rafe and Nicole need more friendship scenes, like on Thursday. That said, something refreshing about them possibly becoming a couple is that, unlike probably most pairings on the show, they've been friends for a long time first, and know each other. Rather than the 'wham-bam, thank you ma'am' crappola we've been given throughout the recent years, they (along with other semi-successful couples like Will & Sonny or Maggie & Victor) had a friendship at first.

HM, I agree that Daniel & Nicole should probably be friends only--though I wouldn't be opposed to them having another relationship--but she's already slept with him several times, and then they had several close moments in late 2013 (flirting, a kiss, etc). I feel like them 'just being friends' would be like her and Brady--they're friends, but sometime have sex.

Soapie and ShaSha, I respect your opinions. I also think many people feel Rafe is a bore because for the past almost-2-years he hasn't really had much storyline. His character was changed so much when he began sleeping with Kate. Then, he was in a coma for months on end, and finally put into a snoozefest of a relationship with Jordan. Now, he still doesn't do much. I think he and Nicole getting together would make for a good storyline for both of these characters, who are more often than not, given either nothing, or bad storylines, to work with.
