I haven't watched Days for a very long time, but my heavens the last few weeks have been amazing. I want to do a happy dance because my favorite show ever is BACK. I'm so sad that Will was killed but the writing and acting has been phenomenal. Bryan Datillo (Lucas) absolutely knocked it out of the park.

Sorry to make a whole new thread but I'm so thrilled with what is on my screen these DAYS.

Most everyone will probably agree with you, I certainly do. These new writers were given a very difficult task, cleaning up the mess made by the previous regime, and they truly have done a remarkable job, giving the actors really meaty material, while trying to wrap up some disappointing storylines, writing out characters, and beginning their own stories, plus making room and story for returning vets, and preparing the 50th anniversary celebration.
We can also see that the changes in exec positions/crew have had a very positive effect on the filming of Days, (lighting, direction, sets, etc.)

Everyone connected in any way with Days can take a bow.
