Jennifer

:OT: of Jennifer (sort of) ..
Well, too if they really have Hope interact with a big story she may be able to "really " move on without Bo..
It would prove that there is really a life for her on her own! Would love to see her really shine and Aiden really want her.. give her a new love if they are not going to bring a Bo back for her, let her go!

Apart from a relationship with Aiden or solving a major crime, the writers just don't have that much wiggle room with Hope, and nobody wants a reappearance of Princess Gina or Hope the drugged mugger. Part of the problem is that Hope is too smart to believably be involved in the messes that Nicole, Jenny and Sami find themselves in. Hope never would treat anyone the way Jen Jen acted toward the Love Doctor or not notice that there was something decidedly off center about Liam. She certainly would not spin webs of self-destructive lies like Nicole. And unlike Sami, she'd never get involved with the likes of EJ or conjure up contrived plots with Kate. As for Eve, Hope would make short work of her, unlike Jenny who seems to be in for an extended period of fretting.

I'm strongly ambivalent about this item. YES Jennifer has a front-burner story, but it stretches the limits of plausibility and gives her yet another reason to enter the orbit of Salem's truest most valiant hero, Dr McScruffy. Because I so disliked the constantly forced pairings of the vitriolic Aiden and the eye-rolling Hope, I am glad that the writers did NOT decide to put Hope front-burner. Perhaps when they've spent their nickel on the Kate/Sami teamup they'll have the energy to write another good story in which Hope moves on.

To me, Jennifer as become Sami number two. In the sense that like the character of Sami, Jennifer is supposed to be some kind of heroine we the viewers want to root for. But it's not working. At least, not for me. Of course, Jennifer did not do all the despicable things Sami has done, but there are similarities to both these characters.

Like Sami, Jennifer is almost always on screen, hogging the air time. It's too much for my taste, especially when some of my favorite characters don't appear for weeks at a time. (Lucas  , John, who's only used now as a prop for Brady's addiction storyline, Nicole, who was missing in action for a week, though she's on more than others for sure, even Roman, who I would love to see more, Abe with Maxine, before TIIC decided not to pair them up, etc.) And what disappoints me is that Jennifer is not the loveable person the writers want me to think she is. She judges everyone, spits venom with a fake smile on her face, cries fake tears also, never really works, never really takes care of her children (she's clueless about Abigail, doesn't include JJ in family matters, just pushes him away cause she "can't deal with this right now"), is never truly there for her family and friends, as she's always focused on herself. To me, she's a selfish, narcissistic woman who thinks the world revolves around her.

Even in this new battle with Eve, I can't really root for Jennifer. Not because I root for Eve, mind you, but because I found Jennifer to be detestable from the moment Eve entered her house. Jennifer still didn't know why Eve was there, but her whole attitude was already that of an almighty person. She was looking down on Eve (again, I don't expect Jennifer to like Eve, but she could at least have tried to hide her feelings) and she was also the one who brought Frankie up. Now why would she do that ? Jennifer brings out, not the best, but the worst in people. She did it with Nicole by harassing her, and she now did it with Eve by provoking her. Again, I'm not approving Eve's actions, but I would like to see something more believable than what was shown on screen. More of a development in the storyline, more balance, instead of this new blatant "Pure Jennifer against Evil Eve", which to me, is a repeat of everything involving Jennifer since she came back (Jen against Anne, Jen against Nicole, Jen against Theresa and now Jen against Eve). :beat:

Maybe Daniel will serve as a miracle lawyer too.
:sarcasm:
Why not? In Salem, people can become doctors and nurses in no time at all without ever seeming to attend classes, take exams, or getting a degree. It could simply be revealed that when Super Jonas wasn't doing miracle surgery, trying to save Eric, battling Nicole, drooling over young women in hospital gowns, calling Parker "little man," and suffering through his on-again-off-again relationship with Ms. Priss, he was attending evening classes at Salem University School of Law and passing the bar exam. With his J.D. degree in hand, the tanned wonder could thrill his devoted egg-mommy by winning brilliant courtroom victories and then rushing off to University Hospital to save lives with his miracle surgery. He could also sidle up to young women at Club TBD and say: "May I buy you a drink, I'm a virile surfer dude, a doctor and a lawyer?

Well to get back on topic, Jennifer does seem to be involved in a good amount of storylines right now. Breakup #56069 1/2 with Dan, Paige & JJ which spawned another with Eve, Nicole & I probably missed another or 2. Poor Hope gets the Nick murder wrapped up, Ciara friends with the boy she bullied wrapped up out of left field suddenly & is only left with Aiden, Giselle, Roman & the fundraiser. And being the gopher for coffee errands when the Pub's machine is broken.

Jennifer is like dairy for me. Some days & in some capacities agrees with me, but most the time doesn't.
