It's a new show; first episode was on last week.
The mom on Great News is played by Andrea Martin, who was Aunt Voula in My Big Fat Greek Wedding and My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2.
From what I can gather, Andrea Martin plays a mom who gets an internship at the news station where her adult daughter works, much to her daughter's dismay.
