Special weather alert for my area cut in for the last 5 minutes or so of the episode so if I missed anything important - I hope someone can post it. Non possession day.

We open with Kristen and Abby discussing Kristen drugging Sarah and who she made Sarah fall in love with. Abby guesses Chad, but Kristen says she picked a more senior Dimera. Abby is shocked to guess Tony. Abby wants to know if she wore a Tony mask to make it happen and Kristen says that's ridiculous. Is it though?! Kristen tells her that "Renee" is in love with Tony. Abby then wants to know how Kristen made Sarah believe she was Renee. Kristen says it wasn't hard, that when she arrived, she'd lost it. She kept her out of her hair and gave her books to read, one of which was Renee's diary which after she finished she believed she was Renee. Kristen again blames it all on Abby, who says Excuse me! Abby won't give up until she can take Sarah home to her family. Sarah's obsession with Renee's life made her docile. Kristen will find her to make sure she doesn't hurt herself. She leaves Abby with Renee's diary. a real page turner.

Sarah informs Steve and Kayla that she's Renee after insisting she's in love with Tony. They try to explain that it can't be possible. Steve wants Kayla to tell him who Renee is. Steve wants to know what they do about Sarah, Kayla says for the moment, they should humor her. They discuss escaping with "Renee". She discusses drilling a hole in Tony and Anna's boat with them. Sarah insists they are meant to be. Kayla says Tony is married to Anna and "Renee" isn't happy - she wants to get off the island so she can tear Anna limb from limb. Tony will have to annul his sham of a marriage so they can wed. Kristen won't let her leave - there's a serial killer in town. Steve says she has his word he won't let Kriten stop them from leaving the island.

Lani is trying to look up information about TR and what he's been up to. Eli returns home from his visit with his mom. She tells him about her birth father and what he's doing in Salem. Eli says she should have called him. She tells him Paulina was right behind TR and got rid of him in mama lioness mode. Lani says she has a better understanding of why Paulina gave her up and didn't tell him. They both say they feel sorry for Paulina. Lani says she's curious about her father. She doesn't know what she's supposed to do.

TR stops by to see Paulina just as she's hanging up the phone from trying to bar him from Eli and Lani's apartment with their management. TR insists he would never hurt Lani. Paulina gets him to leave her apartment and immediately she calls someone and says it's an emergency and she needs to see them right away. Turns out she called Abe who she greets at the door about to hit him. Paulina tells him that her biological father is in Salem. He came in style - a Hollywood big shot. Abe wants to know how they keep him from Lani and Paulina says he's already met her.

Anna and Tony discuss theories about who took Abigail and how they hope to find her and get her back. Anna doesn't understand why she shouldn't go. Tony wants her to help keep Abby's kids okay. Anna is concerned for him though. The doorbell rings immediately after Tony leaves and it is TR. HE tells Anna he's there to see Johnny. She says he's not there but invites him in when she discovers who he is. Johnny is her nephew and they almost invested in the movie. Anna is so excited about the movie,, she thinks Tony should play himself except actually it was his deranged cousin. She has the perfect casting choice to play his wife. Of course, her. TR brings up the fact that Anna is a little old to play the part, he has someone else in mind though. He'll keep her in mind for another project. She pitches Bewitched the Anna Dimera story. The best villain - Renee. Anna has told TR her and Tony's story. She wants to know their next step. He tells her to write up something and then they can talk. He wants to leave until she brings up that she has a daughter and he says he just found out he has one. Anna tells him he needs to fight to be in his daughter's life. He wants to know if Carrie ever got to know her dad and Anna says yes they have a good relationship now.Roman wouldn't let her or anyone keep him from being a father to Carrie.

Lani hopes Ray got the help he needed. Not just for her but because he shares Dna with her babies. Paulina doesn't believe ray has changed.

Abe wants to know why she told Ray about Lani. She tells him it was Chanel. She says Ray was cagey and that he'd told Chanel he'd met her cousin, Lani. Abe's going to go check on Lani. Paulina says it'll do good for Lani to see him. Eli and Lani are happy to see Abe. Eli leaves to see Doug and Julie. Abe says now that her overprotective husband is gone, her overprotective father wants the tea. He wants to know how she is.

Abby starts reading the diary and declares it kind of a page turner.

Steve and Kayla yelling for Kristen while walking through the house. Kristen pops in the room and says ``What's all the ruckus," and then seeing them with Sarah, "I see you met Renee, isn't she special." Kayla wants to know what she gave Sarah. Kristen says they've always been so pushy and their niece is just like them. AT the moment she's curled up with a good book.

Abby reading more of the diary aloud about Renee wanting to get rid of Anna permanently. Abby thinks Poor Anna.

Anna is sitting at the computer trying to figure out where to start.
 
Eli comes home from visiting his mother, hugs, etc. Lani tells him the news, her bio father showed up, is a movie producer & is supposed to produce Johnny's movie. Eli goes to see TR, tells him if Lani or any of the Price women get hurt, he will answer to Eli. TR gets it.
Abe goes to see Lani, they talk about her meeting TR, how she understands why Paulina made sure TR did not know about Lani, how he beat her mom. She assures Abe that HE will always be her father, no one else. Hug!
 
Got a kick out of Anna trying to write her & Tony's "story" thinking it is such a big hit, wondering what she will wear to the Oscars. Overall, to me, the episode was a big yawn. Still don't understand why Kristen is so cheerful with her hostages. Tho Sarah/Renee did not seemed at all noticing that Kayla had aged, she definitely asked why Kayla was calling her Sarah, who "is a toddler". She laughed at the idea she was a doctor, since she cannot stand the sight of blood.

Just a shame Days cut the very lst scene which supposedly had Tony & Anna discussing Abby being missing, & more. In middle of show, suddenly there they are, continuing a conversation about Tony leaving right now to accompany Chad in search for Abby. It was disconcerting.
 
Anna's story will be more like a "scream"play than a screenplay! I guess she has nothing better to do with her time. Telling TR to pursue a relationship with "his little girl" is not helping matters. I don't think TR knows he has grandchildren, right? So far, a well-kept secret? The old grey matter is getting greyer each day, alas.

Steve: Why is he wasting time chatting with the deranged Sarah and creepy Kristen when he and Kayla should be emulating the owl and the pussycat -- taking to sea in their beautiful pea-green boat.

Lani: Some investigator she is. If she'd dig deeper, she might have gotten some good dirt on an operator like Rotten Ray, e.g,,
  • Chicago: Cops Bust Coates on Bigamy Charges -- Has Families Here, Milwaukee, and Detroit;
  • Orlando: Coates Charged with Operating Disneyworld Ticket Scam;
  • New York: Feds Arrest Coates in Major Ponzi Scheme -- Bigger Than the Madoff Scandal.
Paulina: If she wants to get rid of Rotten Ray, she should suggest that he reimburse Tamara and Big Momma for half of the money it took to support Lani until she turned 18. The idea of paying big bucks might just get Ray to hustle right down to the Salem bus station.
 
I am totally lost and am getting "loster" with the current story on the island. Everybody seems to be looking, acting, or is someone other than they appear to be. Not even sure if Kayla and Steve are really who they are. Are they another of Kristen's "mask people"? I have no recognition of DOOL anymore. Am I the only one? No one, or their story, is how I remember it. And hearing the past confuses me even more at time. It's like a NEW story every day with familiar people playing other people then they look like. Boy! That sentence didn't even make sense to me!

Anna was the best part of the show telling TR her story with her and Tony. Interesting to know she thought
Renee was worse than Darth Vader.

Strange to see Eli with hair. The actor was gone doing a prime time show.

How many times are we going to have to hear TR has changed or he's different? Did he have a drinking problem
when he was younger? He told Anna he wanted a club soda.

Steve, Kayla, and Sarah gave us a history lesson of Salem's past. Neil Curtis was mentioned and Sarah was told
he was her father. Sarah as Renee said no Sarah is a toddler and her parents are Mickey and Maggie. Then she
mentioned she almost got killed by Jake Kositchek, the Salem Slasher. Will Sarah as Renee wonder about Roman
looking like Chris Kositchek.. will Sarah wonder how Kayla could date her brother Roman.. well that was a long
time ago and things change a lot in Salem. Then Sarah as Renee found out Kayla is not a nurse, but a doctor.

If Sarah read Renee's diary and think she's Renee, how does she know what Kayla looks like? Is Sarah's memories
helping with that? Or did Kristen show her pictures? And will Sarah freak out to see how old Tony is or will her
warped mind think he's young? Maybe as viewers we're not suppose to think things like that

Abby had a good line asking Kristen if she wore a Tony mask :)
 
I seem to be in the minority, but I am enjoying the blast from the past. I think it will be fun, if Sarah comes home thinking she is Renee, to see her, Tony and Anna interact.. Kayla and Steve with their flare guns pointed at Kristen was comical!!
 
I think it is only that some here were not watching back then, so Renee' & her life then doesn't ring any bells.
ReRon seems to really enjoy having one character play another, tho. He has done it so many times,....facial masks, brain chips, brain washing, drugs, ....somehow Salem citizens are thinking, acting like someone else a lot.
