Today was 35 minutes of absolute drivel.

Gabi is trying to wake up Stefan, then she yells at him. She wants to discuss telling Gwen about Dimitri's affair.

Kristen and Dimitri are together in the living room. She's asking him about who he's worked up his appetite with? He tells her to be careful because he knows that even whispers aren't safe in that house. Kristen tells him he needs to convince the lawyer that he's happily married. Dimitri tells her she doesn't need to concern herself with that. Kristen says she does. Dimitri tells her he could have won an Oscar for his performance. Kristen wants to know how he pulled it off?

Leo is wearing a wig and mocking Gwen with Dimitri. There's a pounding at the door. It's Gwen.

Julie has come by to see Maggie. She couldn't come to the service because Doug was not feeling well. Maggie says Chelsea told her. Maggie says the service was lovely but then they had an uninvited guest. Julie asks who?! Vivian comes in and says that would be me.

Now we are in Athens with the Kiriakis duo. They discuss the blonde flight attendant. Brady tells Alex to keep his eye on the ball, they didn't fly to Greece to chase tail. They discuss the lead from Andrew and try to put a plan together. Brady's going to take a shower, so will Alex, then they'll head out. Brady leaves to go to his room. There's a knock on the door and Alex asks if Brady forgot something and calls him Cuzzo.

But of course Theresa has followed them to Greece and she reminds Alex they are most definitely not related. Alex wants to know what she's doing in Greece? He reminds Theresa that Brady would not appreciate her tagging along. She says she bought her own ticket so she's not technically tagging along. Theresa is trying to sell herself as amazing help for Alex and Brady.

Julie says Dear God, it's Vivian Alamain. Julie thought she was rotting away in prison. But Vivian says she was released for good behavior. Julie makes a crack about why we need justice system reform in the country. Vivian asks if she's upset because Lani is still on the inside? Vivian is upset that Lani chose to do her prison term elsewhere, because Vivian would have loved to spend time with her. Julie asks Maggie to ask Vivian to leave. Vivian then asks about Julie's great-grandbabies. Maybe she should pop over to DC and reacquaint herself with Lani and Eli's adorable twins.

Leo tells Gwen he was just thinking of her, wondering how married life has been treating her? She says wonderful, blissful, couldn't be better. She was quite worried about having to cut their honeymoon short, then she waxes poetic about the sex appeal of her husband and how he can't keep his hands off her. Leo struggles to nod his head at her statements.

Gabi tells Stefan that yes they are sure about the affair. She finished her questions game with Rachel who saw Leo and Dimitri with her own eyes. So they know Dimitri only married Gwen because of the codicil. And Gwen's running around like a happy newlywed and her husband is being a dirtbag. Stefan adds that he's also sleeping with her best friend on the down-low. Gabi says yeah. Now my husband, we have to figure out how we'll use the info to our advantage.

Kristen says you thought you could convince the lawyer that your same sex side piece in drag was your wife? Dimitri says he knows it sounds like an SNL skit but it worked. Kristen wants to know how it worked? Dimitri explains how they got him to feel empathetic to their plight. A gay man who couldn't inherit because of his sexuality. Kristen accuses Dimitri of going soft by falling for Leo. Dimitri tells Kristen to be careful, Leo is the man he loves.

Leo says so you're saying Dimitri can't keep his hands off you? Gwen says they are constantly shagging. Leo says I get it. Gwen says he's insatiable. Leo says he's so happy for them. Gwen continues on while Leo isn't impressed.

Alex tells Theresa he wishes they could hang out, but he has to shower, he's going with Brady to meet the guy Victor met with. Theresa tells him to go shower. Alex tells her to book herself a flight home and use his business card to pay for it. There's a knock at the door. Of course it's Brady who wants to know why she's there? She taunts him about Alex being in the shower.

Julie tells Maggie that she will happily kick Vivian out if she just says the word. Vivian says I'm so sorry, I don't think Maggie will be able to do that. Maggie says nothing. Julie says somebody say something. Vivian says if she won't I will, this house isn't yours, and it's not Maggie's either. Julie tells Vivian she's out of her mind. Vivian doesn't understand why Maggie is still there, Justin and his wife had the good sense to leave last night. She suggests Maggie and her gal pal do as well.

Off screen Julie has been caught up to the news that Victor destroyed his will and Vivian and Victor never divorced. Julie asks if she's joking? Vivian says her late husband's estate is no laughing matter. Maggie says don't you dare call him that. They bicker back and forth a bit. Maggie tells Vivian to get it through her head, Victor was HER husband not Vivian's. Vivian tells them she has some errands to run and if they are still there when she gets back she'll call the authorities to remove them from the premises.

Stefan says they have two options. They expose Dimitri for the fraud he is OR they extort him for every single share of DiMera enterprises that belongs to him and his mommy. Gabi prefers option 2. Stefan knew she would. Gabi asks when they'll get the ball rolling on that? They talk about blackmail over breakfast.

Brady yells at Theresa for following him to Greece on a family matter. Theresa asks how many times she has to remind him she is family too? They share a son. Brady says he is very aware of that and Tate is one of the only reasons he puts up with this kind of crap. Why did she come uninvited? She says Alex invited her because he thought she could help. Brady says she's lying. Brady tells her not to do this, not to start her mind games. She asks if he's jealous? Alex comes out of the bathroom. Brady tells Alex that Theresa said she was invited, then asks if she's making that up?

Kristen says so you've fallen in love with Leo Stark? He asks what difference it makes? The important thing is the lawyer believed it and released the funds. Kristen says where's my cut? Dimitri says that is on hold for a while as Roth only brought the first installment of the trust fund and he has certain expenses. Kristen says yes you do, like paying me to stay quiet about your sham of a marriage.

Dimitri tries to calm her and tells her it is only a matter of time before he receives the bulk of his inheritance. Kristen says you know what, you better not be playing games with me nephew, because if you do, if you cross me, I will tell Gwen everything. Gabi and Stefan walk in and Gabi says "Tell Gwen everything about what?"
 
Gwen tells Leo that Dimitri might be the death of her. Leo finally blows up and tells her to shut up. She wonders what that was about? He says he's not sure what came over him. He then makes an excuse about being up all night thinking about the JFK shooting. He finally admits he's jealous. He has no one. She asks what happened to Matthew Perry? They broke up. He decided to work things out with his wife. Gwen offers some minor comfort. She tells him of his virtues. One day he's going to meet someone as wonderful as her Dimitri. They hug.

Stefan says my wife asked you a question Kristen. What exactly are you planning on telling Gwen? And why does it have our nephew looking like he saw a ghost? But they are interrupted by Vivian walking in while speaking French (I think). Stefan says Mother?! Gabi asks how she got out of prison? Vivian makes a joke about finding a pick axe and digging her way out. She asks hasn't anyone heard of good behavior? Then she wants to know how Gabi managed to get Stefan to remarry her?

Stefan tells his mother that they are in love. More now than ever. Vivian tells him to tread carefully because Gabi was in love with Nick Fallon and that didn't work out too well for Nick. Gabi says she had to defend herself against Nick, just like Carly had to do when she had to defend herself against Lawrence. Vivian says how dare you bring up that ghastly Von Leuschner's name and what she did to my Lawrence.

Gabi says I'm sorry but you are insinuating I'm not good enough for your son. Vivian meant to state it as a fact. Gabi says here's another fact for you, you are the reason Stefan and I lost years because he took a bullet for you. Dimitri interrupts them and says I'm sorry to interrupt here but who exactly is this woman and what is her issue with the Von Leuschners? Kristen is enjoying the drama as ever.

Alex says he did not invite Theresa and he told her she shouldn't have come, then Theresa cuts in and says she thinks the three of them should go out and solve the mystery of Victor's final days. Brady isn't impressed. Alex finally gets dressed. Brady says there is no way she's going with them. She says fine. I'll just stay here and do some sightseeing. Brady says they'll drop her off at the airport and he'll book her a flight home.

Theresa says no, she's not going back on another 10 plus hour flight. Fabulous country, wonderful people, she cannot wait to explore Greece. Alex says maybe we should relax a bit about Theresa. Brady says do not get in any trouble and don't follow us. Theresa says jet lag is setting in and asks Alex if she can nap on his bed? Alex tells her to knock herself out. Brady and Alex exit. Theresa laughs. Then gets up and makes a call to order room service.

Gwen tells Leo she must be off. She doesn't like being away from her husband too long. She'll see him later. He says yeah I'll see you later. As soon as she leaves he starts mocking her again. Leo wonders what kind of game Dimitri is playing?

Vivian says forgive me handsome stranger, we haven't been properly introduced, I'm Vivian Alamain. Dimitiri says you're an Alamain? Vivian says that's right and who would you be? Kristen butts in and says this is my sister Megan's son, Dimitri. Vivian remembers hearing one of Stefano's supposedly dead progeny pulled a Lazarus. But she's sure his mother is just lovely. Oh yes, she is, Dimitri says, as is my cousin Katerina, you know, the one you buried alive.

Wait, says Vivian, Carly is your cousin? And you're a DiMera? Your mother is a DiMera and Carly is your cousin. That makes you a ...? Dimitri says a Von Leuschner, yes. And your sworn enemy. Vivian says That's very unfortunate. I do hope you take after your mother's side. As lovely as this family reunion has been, I think I better be going. Stefan tells her to wait, he calls her sharp tongued and bitter but she hasn't told them what she's doing in Salem.

Maggie can't believe this is happening. She tells Julie she could lose her home. Everything she and Victor built, lost to that she wolf. Julie says there must be something Justin can do. Maggie says no he can't, he looked into it and it's legit. Julie says Oh god. Well you can't surrender. You have to fight, Maggie. A problem like Vivian Alamain can't be solved over tea. They should go to Julie's house and plan her next move. She won't give Viivan the satisfaction of throwing her out of Victor's house, so she should leave for a short time while they make a plan to get rid of Vivian. Julie tells her she has to fight and she'll fight with her.

It would seem Vivian has filled them in off screen. But before she leaves the DiMansion, Vivian says she has a slight infestation of rodents taking over her house before she can move in. Kristen says just what we need Vivian on the loose. She's going to call Eli and warn him. Dimitri, why don't we go and finish our conversation? Dimitri says he thinks it can wait, then tries to leave. Gabi says not so fast, I don't appreciate my questions not being answered, so what was Kristen threatening to tell Gwen?

Stefan says we'll save you the trouble of making up a lie, we know, Dimitri. He says you know what? Gabi says we know you are having an affair with Leo Stark. Don't deny it. Rachel saw the two of you in bed together and we know you got his room in Iceland. Nephew, buddy, don't look so rattled, you see my wife and I are willing to keep your dirty, no good, extramarital affair a secret. Gabi says they do have conditions though.

Brady and Alex introduce themselves to Konstantin. He asks if they are related to Victor? They explain their relations. Brady asks if he can tell them what the meeting was about?

Theresa is whining about room service, then there's a knock on the door. She opens it and says Oh My God.

Vivian comes back and starts in on Maggie for not being gone. Julie comes in with a suitcase and tells Viv not to bother with calling the Sheriff. Julie hits Vivian's feet with the suitcase as she heads out. Maggie tells Vivian she may have won this round, but the war is just beginning. To the victor go the spoils, Maggie, Vivian says to herself after Maggie has left.

Gabi and Stefan discussing the look on Dimitri's face when they demanded the stock certificates. Gabi says so much for his mother's plan to eliminate you, because now we've got her slimy son Dimitri and her shares where we want them.

Dimitri runs in to Leo's room telling him they have serious trouble. Leo agrees, but it's because Dimitri is two timing him with his wife.

Gwen is pouring herself something to drink and getting food when Kristen comes in. Gwen asks if Kristen knows where her husband is? Kristen says he was there earlier but he's left. Gwen says they were supposed to have breakfast. Kristen says there's something she needs to tell Gwen, she wouldn't have said anything but Dimitri has forced her hand. I see, says Gwen, what is it? Kristen says it has to do with Dimitri and your best friend. Gwen asks what about them. Kristen says they are having an affair. Gwen smiles. and says Oh Kristen, I already knew that. Kristen says "What?!" Meanwhile Gwen drinks her coffee and shakes her head.
 
Gabi has become unwatchable. I used to really like her fire and spit. Now, get off my screen. Her "I don't like having my questions go unanswered" and letting Stefan speak for her, my wife doesn't like having her questions unanswered. They can both go as they really don't add much to the story.

Goody, a feud between two non-core families is now going to take up screen time. I can't tell you how excited this makes me. Dimitri vs Vivian. May they both kill the other and this go away, quickly.

Thanks for the summary. I really liked this episode, it was the perfect way to end the week with a great cliffhanger. While many of us suspected that Gwen was just playing Leo and Dimitri (still getting used to spelling the name that way, lol), it was still delicious with the reveal. Also, I may not care for Julie, but having her be on Maggie's team in this war against Vivian is going to be SO delicious!
 
Loved the last few minutes with Gwen revealing she already knew about Dimitri and Leo having an affair. I’m curious if she also knows about the codicil and his inheritance. Would be fantastic if she does know and then takes half of the money for herself in the divorce settlement. Or if she decides for an annulment due to fraud. She can demand half of the inheritance as part of the agreement. I’m afraid Leo will be losing his best friend. He sealed his fate.
 
Well done, Kris!

I was relishing Gwen's reveal and knew she knew as soon as she was rubbing her sex life in Leo's face. Just a hunch that she found out during the Iceland trip. She will have Dimitri over a barrel now. He will have to pay her big time, lest she reveal all. Will Dimitri and Leo still be in love now? Too bad Gwen and Leo's friendship will end, but it is his own fault.

Theresa hasn't changed much, and Alex is still resisting her. Is he a changed man?

Will the Greek restaurant owner tell Brady and Alex about Victor's mission, or has he been sworn to secrecy?

I hope Julie can help Maggie and get to the truth behind the will and Vivian's declarations. Maggie just can't lose her home.

Too bad we didn't see the morning after with Shawn and Talia. Inquiring minds want to know.
 
Just got thru watching finally.........ooooh, Gwen really burst Kristen's balloon, didn't she?

Vivian can't leave soon enough, for me. She already has overstayed.

Gotta say, Leo was a stitch when mocking Gwen.

Vivian overstayed her welcome the second she walked into the scene.

Just watched the end scenes. Gwen and Kristen's scene was good. Anytime Kreepy Kristen gets schooled works for me.

I am wondering who was at the door? PURE SPECULATION, Tate is my guess.

It's a new day in Salem and autumn has arrived with long sleeved shirts.

I'm glad Gwen isn't stupid and already knew about Leo and Dimitri.

Interesting to see Alex and Brady at the same place Hope was when she was in Greece. Was there a
reason why Victor went there?

Did Maggie have time to pack all her knick-knacks before she left? Vivian might break them all.

What purpose does Stefan and Gabi have since they got married?

What a surprise to see Theresa in Greece. Not really.
 
Thanks for the write up.

I would have preferred if they gave us hints along the way that Gwen knew or better yet that we flat out knew it so we could have been on her side the entire time. While we were hoping she knew the only other option was that she was an idiot and considering the writing that was certainly plausible. We missed an opportunity to have more fun with Gwen along the way here I think.
