Replay of Rafe and Hope's wedding in the Square, as Julie talks about the great, pure, untainted love that Hope and Rafe have for each other while giving dirty looks to Gabi and Eli, who are seated together. Doug walks Hope down the aisle, where Rafe waits with Dario at his side.
Replay of Sonny and Paul fighting with Kiriakis goons on the docks. They are still loyal to Deimos and don't care that Sonny is Victor's favorite or that Deimos is gone. One thug slams Paul into a pile of boxes which collapse on top of him, then grabs Sonny's arms, allowing the other thug to work on tenderizing his face.
Replay of Maggie trying to call Victor on his cellphone without success. She is worried, slams down the phone and races out the door.
At the Titan offices (hey, this is a fantasy, so it's a huge skyscraper LOL), replay of Victor's meeting with André and Kate about the hijacked oil rig. Kate seems genuinely shocked when Victor outs André as the mastermind, even moreso when Victor hands him a briefcase of cash. She storms out. Victor and André toast to the end of the Hernandez thugs, gloat that Dario is taking the fall for them.
Replay of Dario receiving the note from Mole about the bomb at the Titan offices. It is set to explode at 6:45. Dario looks at the clock, sees that it is 6:40.
Back at Titan, André has left the building and Victor is fumbling with his computer. He curses Brady for eloping with Nicole to Portafino when he should be here, running Titan. He makes a call to the tech department, and his attempts to follow their directions result in the computer shutting down. Frustrated, he leaves his office and heads down the right elevator. Moments later, Maggie emerges from the left elevator, calling for Victor. She walks into his office, passing by a clock that reads 6:44.
Outside, we see the top floor of the building explode.
Back at the Square, Rafe and Hope have married and the guests are mingling. Julie is keeping about 40 paces from Eli and Gabi, who are very cozy. She hears Gabi talk about the baby, and her eyes widen. Julie races to the couple, and starts calling Gabi all sorts of names. Eli is tired of it, doesn't want to hear it, knows all about how terrible Nick was. He wasn't, Julie protests, slapping Eli. Eli says he doesn't need this, he's taking the woman he loves away from Salem. Eli and Gabi turn to leave, Julie grabs Gabi's arm and screams, "No! She will not be a part of my family!" Gabi struggles to get away, Julie keeps pulling on her arm. Doug tries to separate them, as does Eli. Everyone falls down. Julie is having chest pains, gets up to call to Doug, who's lying on the ground, bleeding from the head. She looks over to Eli, who is standing over Gabi, who has been stabbed by a broken chair.
Back on the docks, Sonny is starting to lose consciousness. A rustling from the boxes startles one thug, and Sonny manages to escape and push the second thug into a pile of crates. Paul emerges and rushes the thug, who draws his gun and shoots Paul in the head. Paul falls into the water. Sonny screams, and as he's rushing at the thug that shot Paul, the other one shoots him in the back. He falls forward, dead.
Suddenly it's morning, Sonny is lying in bed, asleep. He wakes with a start and hears the shower. He wanders to the bathroom and opens the shower door. Will (Chandler Massey) turns around and says, "Good morning."
Like the Sands through the Hourglass, so are the rebooted Days of our Lives...
