Hi from Cdnsnowbird!
I've been away for about a year and am glad to be back reading The Salem Spectator! Chose to give Days a rest last year, but in speaking to a friend yesterday, she indicated the show was exciting once again.
Spent a couple of hours yesterday reading the daily summaries...
Galen Gering (Rafe) has always been leading man material and the writers have often wasted his talents in long drawn out storylines with questionable female partners.
I'm on board for Rafe and Hope as a couple, friends first, before things get more serious!
So great seeing Steve and Kayla together again. I thought I heard a spontaneous ROAR across North America when Steve said he was planning on staying in Salem for good!
Thanks Poirot. The "keep me logged in" button is there and I usually remember to check it when I log in. Will keep plugging away on my tablet (more convenient ) but can always fall back on the laptop if it gets too frustrating.
Wayne....thanks so much.. I will look into the browser update...
I have been experimenting with the "new" site and must admit it's been quite frustrating. I'm on my laptop now and everything looks good - much the same as I've been used to....except - each time I log in....I have to type my full user name and password and before it was always "auto fill". Any...
I started watching in the late eighties and especially loved the scenes taped in Greece with Roman and Diana (Genie Francis), Justin and Adrienne...also loved Patch and Kayla and Jack and Jennifer...those were great DAYS!
Does anyone (Jason47))?? know if any of the breakdown or dialogue writers such as the Cullitons are still on the job with the new head writers? In my view, these folks make up valuable components of what we see and hear on a daily basis and they need to be top notch too!
I loved the dialogue in this episode...written by Richard Culliton...the Cullitons write good stuff ...hope they stay on with the new head writing team!
Galen Gering (Rafe) is the actor I want to see on my tv screen when I watch Days! Even with poor writing and no storylines...he always delivers! I seem to recall Corday saying at the beginning of 2015 Rafe would not be getting a new love interest until late spring or so....but I agree with those...
