13 ADDITIONAL EARLY "DAYS" EPISODE HIGHLIGHTS ADDED TO THE EPISODE ARCHIVE...
An additional 13 episodes (plus 2 more episodes with additional details) have been added to the "Days" episode archive, thanks to the same "Days" fan who found more in newspaper archives. Daily episode highlights are now available for 608 of the show's first 1108 episodes, covering November 1965-March 1970. This leaves just 500 episodes lacking any details from the show's first five years on the air. Here are the new additions:
1/16/67: Susan is rushed to surgery for an emergency operation in an effort to save her and the baby. After Susan hemorrhages, Dr. Hendricks performs a C-section and the baby boy is placed in an incubator.
1/17/67: Diane, Richard and David desperately await news of Susan. The baby is a boy and in an incubator, but Susan's life hangs in the balance. David donates blood, but Susan is yet to wake up.
1/18/67: Tony invites Marie to join him, Mickey and Laura for dinner. Tony cancels out, leaving Mickey and Laura to dine together.
1/19/67: Tony seeks Laura's advice on how to handle Marie. Jean and Tom relive the past when she was a student nurse and he an intern.
1/20/67: Diane and Richard see their new grandson. Susan comes out of shock and recognizes her parents and David.
1/19/70: A cablegram from Marie brings pleasant news to the Horton home. Bill contemplates what might happen in the future if he reveals the details of his case.
1/20/70: Tommy is devastated when he learns what plans his daughter has made. Julie tells Sandy about the past relationship between Marie and Tommy.
1/21/70: Bill learns some facets of law that greatly alter his plan of defense. Mickey attempts to persuade the state's attorney to make a deal with him in Bill's case.
1/22/70: Laura is questioned by Perry about how things once were for her and Bill. Mickey explains to Bill the factors involved in making a deal with the state's attorney.
1/23/70: Perry doesn't realize how close he is to the truth when he begins to theorize about Bill's motive. Sandy asks Tom if he really believes that Bill is innocent.
3/30/70: Laura and Mickey discuss Scott and Susan's plight. David doesn't want to be separated from Scott. Julie tells Scott she has agreed to marry Austin but hints at an alternative.
3/31/70: Marie attempts to comfort Susan. Scott is shocked by Julie's suggestion that he marry her to solve their problem. Austin awaits Julie's decision. Scott is too shaken to tell Susan of Julie's offer.
4/1/70: Brent continues to advise Bill to keep his cool. Inmate Ribiwitz fakes sick call and threatens Bill. Inmate Johnny Beacon is brought to the infirmary bleeding and in shock. Sarah tells Bill of a prisoner's problem.
4/2/70: Tom asks Mickey to show more tolerance toward Bill. Beacon pleads with Bill to protect him. Austin tells Scott that he is going to force Julie's decision tonight.
4/3/70: Scott decides to marry Julie, in a desperate need to keep young David. Tom and Alice are shocked when they hear of Scott and Julie's marriage plans.
