Good morning ladies and gentlemen,

Apologies for the approximately 30 minutes of down time this morning.

The company who writes our software released a new version (1.5) and I thought it best that we not get caught in the trap where we don't get to upgrade for another three years.

Upgraded this morning were;
  1. The site software
  2. The theme (mostly invisible changes)
  3. The media pack (that little thing that lets you paste google/youtube videos and about 90 other news types into your posts).
For the most part, I'm hoping you guys will actually notice very little change. That's the way it's supposed to work and most of the upgrades happen on the Admin side. If you see anything more strange than normal, please let me know.
 
@Just Samantha - Correct. I can fix if everyone objects, but it looks like that will be the default every time we upgrade. The switch effects everyone, so I can't say "some are round, some get to be square"

@Heather4CU - Also correct. One of the new features is a "floating" notice. which shows up at the bottom right of the screen and you can either dismiss it (close it) or it'll go away on it's own after about a minute.
