545 Sycamore

Not sure if any of you noticed, but a few weeks back, when Gwen crashed the Xander/Sarah wedding, she stepped outside the Horton House and the address sign was 2818. I was shocked to see that, as it had always been 545. Another fan messaged me and said they noticed the same thing. I did contact the show that day and pointed this out. They had been dark (not taping) the last few weeks but they finally went back to work yesterday. Having looked into things, it seems the address sign changed in 2015, perhaps because the 545 broke, but it was mistakenly replaced with 2818. I asked if perhaps they could change it back to 545, and they agreed! So, hopefully in Spring 2023, we will be seeing 545 Sycamore as the address again!!

ohh my gosh, Jason, that is terrific! Where in heavens name and WHY would they use such a different number? Guess the plate was handy, someone just grabbed it.

I just figured it was changed when their fictional 911 call center went in. A lot of addresses in my area changed for that reason.

Yes, 2818 was Abe & Lexie's address prior to 2015, so that must have been lying around and they accidentally used that one!

That goes near the top of my list of my favorite Days things I've been involved in. I never thought I'd have "fixed the Horton House address" on my "Days" resume!

So, that should be getting changed back to 545, perhaps today!
