Charles Keating (Carl Hutchins from Another World) has died

I'm so very sad about this, he was one of my favorite people and I watch my tapes of Another World.

I love him and Anna Stuart (Donna Love), they worked so good together.

I watched Another World back in the day. I loved the redemption of Carl and his courtship with Rachel. I saw the actors on Oprah once, reading a poem together and it was funny, good rapport. He looked good with that pencil thin mustache and ponytail. Sad news.

Was not sure where to post this but I thought maybe just maybe some Days fans used to watch Another World.

Longtime soap actor Charles Keating, best known for his Emmy-winning turn on Another World, has died, Reutersreports. He was 72.

Keating's Another World co-star Alicia Coppola tweeted about his passing on Saturday. "Charles Keating has passed. I am so very sad," she wrote. "Along w/ @LindaDano he was my very first acting teacher. The actress I am is because of them." Keating had been battling cancer.

A London native, Keating appeared with the Royal Shakespeare Company before turning to television. He is best known for his role as reformed villain Carl Hutchins on Another World from 1983-1985 and 1991-1998. The performance won him a Daytime Emmy in 1996 and led to other memorable parts on All My Children, Port Charles and As the World Turns.

Keating's other TV roles include Sex and the City, Xena and Alias, as well as films like The Bodyguard, The Thomas Crown Affair and Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo.

Keating is survived by his wife, Mary, and their two sons.
