SPOILER !! Credits today suggest 4 actors now on contract, although not fully confirmed

Today's Days credits suggest that four actors have joined the contract cast this week. Brandon Barash (Jake), Marci Miller (Abigail), Mike Manning (Charlie) and Cady McClain (Jennifer) are all listed before long-time cast members such as Thaao Penghlis (Tony) and Martha Madison (Belle).

Mike Manning's (Charlie) placement up until last week in the credits was as the last person on the guest list, having been the most recent debut. Cady McClain (new Jennifer), who is just making her debut, would normally be listed at the end of the guest cast, not before anyone who has appeared on the show before. Their placement at the end of the contract cast seems to suggest all four actors are now on contract. However, without the usual names which signify the beginning of the guest cast (Julie, Doug and Victor) being listed this week, the confirmation is not 100 percent.

I definitely would understand why 3 would be on contract, but Mike Manning (Charlie)? Guess Charlie is going to hang around Salem longer than we thought. However, we really don't know how long a contract, if they are truly on one. 2 months? 3 or 4? 6? a year?

It's a guaranteed 13 weeks of pay for them, so that's the one guarantee. But even if they are fired after one day of work, they are still guaranteed 13 weeks of pay. So, if they are on contract, the only thing we know for sure is the four of them are guaranteed to be paid for 13 weeks.

Camila Banus (Gabi) and Galen Gering (Rafe) posted from the set a few weeks back, so that puts them back in late November/early December at the latest.
