37 minutes of recapping and backstabbing entertainment, but at least it’s not grief porn, no Nicole and EJ.

Shirtless and sweaty Alex working out in his living room, Theresa walks in.

Chad and Stephanie eating at the pub, Stephanie’s eggs are cold. The entire conversation is cold. Chad is upset about Everett publishing a story about Lady Whistleblower. Apparently, it’s a positive story about Leo, what Lady Whistleblower did for love.

Xander calls Sarah they talk baby stuff. It’s been a day since they last spoke about Victor and Maggie’s anniversary.

Konstantin wanders around town, Steve stops and questions him coyly about the lace tablecloth, it’s been two weeks. I can’t remember.

Theresa tosses Alex a shirt, he won’t put it on till he showers, so he drapes it across his body. Theresa is fanning herself in his presence. They are friends with benefits in case anyone cares, I don’t. Theresa is going to manage Bella magazine. As print dies, the writers go with a story about a magazine.

Chad and Stephanie blah blah. Chad is very upset that Stephanie wasn’t a packaged virgin prior to his sleeping with her.

We have our second pop up shot of Everett. No dialog, just Everett at a desk, Everett looking at a phone.

Xander and Sarah argue about custody, so far nothing new

Maggie confronts Sarah about the phone call. Maggie was going to go Christmas shopping but she will stay and babysit her precious granddaughter. Maybe when Sarah is finished with work and court they can go shopping together and get something nice for Konstantin. Sarah is shocked that Konstantin will be around for Christmas.

Steve and Konstantin chat about the lie of the tablecloth. Konstantin admits to Steve that he lied. Konstantin blah blahs and then asks Steve to not tell Maggie.

Xander and Everett chat and discuss turning off comments about his article. Xander lets Everett know that the paper is in financial woes.

Stephanie and Chad argue over Everett hiring Stephanie as a PR firm. Stephanie calls Chad out as jealous. Chad is acting like a two-year-old who lost his binky. We’ve heard various forms of this conversation before. Chad storms off without his binky.

Sweaty Alex hugs a well-dressed Theresa. She knows where she wants to take Bella, they double talk here about bedrooms and magazines.

John is playing with the family tree he got for his anniversary as Steve watches. John wants to take the girls away for a nice weekend. Steve wants to investigate Maggie’s new friend.

Maggie tells Sarah she doesn’t know what Konstantin’s plans are but he is welcome to stay. Maggie says since he’s given her lots of gifts. Konstantin comes in and eavesdrops on this stupid conversation. Sarah thinks her mom is moving too fast, she did just bury her husband. Sarah thinks perhaps Konstantin might have a life back home. Konstantin leaves, Maggie is appalled that Sarah thinks that Konstantin is moving to get Maggie into bed. Maggie tells Sarah to mind her business.

Steve and John discuss Konstantin. Shameless grifter who targets a lonely widow.

Everett wanders into the Pub, talks with Stephanie.

Xander and Chad talk. Chad wants to purchase Xander's half of the paper.

Theresa calls her mom tells her that she will again be running Bella Magazine again. Konstantin comes and pounds on the door. Threatens Theresa with telling Alex the truth.

Everett and Stephanie discuss how much of a donkey’s butt Chad is.

Xander is confused as to why Chad wants the paper. Chad says it’s Abigail’s dream, it would keep it in the family. Xander is determined to bring the Spectator back to being an honorable paper again, Gwen’s editorial spin wasn’t terrific. Xander calls out Chad for the exactly the correct reasons. Not caring for Xander’s editor in chief, because Chad is jealous of him. Not because he wants to maintain the family’s legacy.

Maggie and Sarah apologize to each other over their harsh words. Maggie claims she’s got life experiences that will help her with Konstantin.

Steve and John discuss Konstantin. They have problems with only having Konstantin's word on things.

Theresa and Konstantin argue, then Konstantin tells her that he will have Maggie’s half of Victor's fortune.

Alex walks into the pub, meets Everett Lynch. Everett and Alex make small talk, quick history of Seattle, take a drink. They used the "ghosted" term again.

Chad gets defensive about being doubted. Xander won’t consider it because he needs a job to get custody of his daughter.

Sarah and Maggie discuss Konstantin’s motives. Sarah eventually leaves for work, Victoria’s nap is soon, she’s a great napper.

Theresa and Konstantin threaten each other. Konstantin is upset Maggie’s busybody daughter is taking his Maggie away.

Maggie is staring at doll-in-blanket who is in a bassinet in the living room. Maggie can’t accept the flowers, but they are for Victor. Maggie was too busy to visit Victor. The nanny’s day off, Henderson is at the market.

John and Steve talk of going to Greece and investigating Konstantin.

Alex, Stephanie and Everett talk. Alex tells Everett that Chad hates it when Stephanie hangs with her exes.

Chad makes a phone call, he needs help.

Xander drops in on Sarah at the hospital.

Konstantin is “babysitting” Victoria, Theresa comes in dressed all in black sweats. Konstantin orders Theresa to take the baby.

Yes, folks, two baby kidnappings at one time. These writers are simply amazing.

Thank you, Robin!

Of course, Shriek Owl Sara will accuse Xander of kidnapping Victoria, and I hate that. OR, they will come together to find their daughter and realize they need to stop bickering and have joint custody.

Even though Theresa is not happy about this plot, she is still going along with it. So can't feel that bad for her.

Just want Xander to find out he is Victor's son and let's move on!

I wonder if Blanket Baby (as opposed to Beach Blanket Bingo) is in the union. Maybe they should be on Masked Singer next, since their identity is never revealed, anyway.

I hope Konstantin doesn't hurt Steve, since he now knows Steve is onto him.

Maggie proclaiming that she won't let anyone (Konstantin) take advantage of her is a warning sign that he definitely will and succeed (at least at the start).

Stephanie needs to move out of Chad's. Why in the world/how in the world can she stay there? Chad has become insufferable, and that is making Everett look more appealing (though he is far from ideal for Stephanie or anyone.)

If Stephanie doesn't kick Chad to the curb she is an idiot. Who is he unexpectedly calling for help?

Geez Maggie. Mind your own business? Because that's what you do?

Seriously, Konstantin is going to have Victoria kidnapped? People are already suspicious of you and she's kidnapped when Maggie leaves you with her for 10 minutes?! These stories are ridiculous.

Well, they originally wanted the Theresa story to run 12 weeks, so maybe once that time is up, she will leave and they will bring Gwen back? They certainly aren't helping to make anyone ask her to stick around. I'm not sure this will make anyone want Gwen back, but maybe?

Somebody should tell that old faker Konstantin that only one babynapping at a time is allowed in Salem. He should also be told that a baby snatching that results in people falsely blaming the mighty X-Man could be very dangerous. (One angry glower from Xander would probably cause the seedy grifter to collapse with a heart attack:))

Kudos to Steve for exposing Konstantin as a cheap fraud. Even better than today’s disclosures would be Steve learning that the K-fake is not even Greek, but is really Turkish. Steve might settle his issue by sneaking up behind Konstantin and yelling “FIRE” in Turkish.

Finally, the writers are really ruining Gwennie T. The old Jeannie T. engaged in her own petty personal plots, but never would have gotten involved with a creepy foreign grifter who wants to commit Salem’s crime of the century by stealing half of Victor’s sacred fortune. (Is it time to rally the old “I’m with Jack” mob to help protect Victor’s money from a cheap swindler”?)

Thanks, robin.

It's a new day in Salem.

Does Theresa take Victoria so Konstantin can either be a hero in Maggie's eyes or for a ransom?

Steve wasn't using his smarts when he confronted Konstantin in the square.

If Steve and John go to Greece, I hope they find out something about Konstantin before he gets
his claws in Maggie.

Chad needs to see a therapist or do something to act like a human being again. One thing he needs
to do is stop listening to EJ.

Xander lets Everett know that the paper is in financial woes.
WHAT?!?! They got it for free from that rapist and his druggie hit-n-runner wife. Perhaps going to work more than 1 day a month might be advised? Also, they just hired a new employee, why!?!?

This "3 men want Stephanie" story is preferable to the "0 men want Stephanie because they all want Toddler Mel" story only because the pouty one (blessed daughter of St Daniel of Surf City) is not present. Otherwise, complete rubbish not even fit for a 1970s soap.

Enough with the "Victor's Fortune" MacGuffin.

Stephanie has zero self-respect or sense if she doesn't leave Chad as soon as possible. Chad won't marry her yet he gets insanely jealous whenever she talks to another man. These are major red flags. He'll be a possessive and likely abusive mate.

I was hoping Theresa could be redeemed and maybe end up with Brady but after this, I want her gone.
