Okay, he was great dealing with the change of paternity foisted upon him by Konny and Theresa. I agree with this.

This is a bit harder but Gwen dealing with being lied to by her bestie Matty and wealthy hubby was okay. Not spectacular, but okay.

The Writer's Guild said they were the best. Hopefully these folks won't have been drinking the Salem water and know that others are much better.
 
Actually, in re: the writing category. all 4 soaps were nominated, and all were nominated in other categories, along with The Bay.

I honestly hope Dick Van Dyke (Timothy) wins in that guest category. He was just super. Love him, always have.
 
Isn't Neighbours an Australian soap? How is it eligible?

If the consideration period included the Renée stuff, I would second Linsey Godfrey's (Sarah) nomination. I hated the story but she did well. I can't recall anything from 2023 that was noteworthy - then again I've been using brain bleach on the monthly to forget the terror of the storylines.
