Neighbours nominated for top US award for the first time ever

Neighbours has received its first-ever Emmy nomination for Best Daytime Drama Series.

When Amazon Freevee revived “Neighbours” in 2023 (after the show had been canceled the previous year), Amazon MGM Studios became the primary financier and distributor of the series, making the show eligible for a U.S. Daytime Emmy for the first time.

If the consideration period included the Renée stuff, I would second Linsey Godfrey's (Sarah) nomination. I hated the story but she did well. I can't recall anything from 2023 that was noteworthy - then again I've been using brain bleach on the monthly to forget the terror of the storylines.

I think it's about Xander finding out that Sarah lied about Victoria's paternity and he confronted her about it.
