FROM THE VAULT: CAST CHART FROM JULY 2000

Here's a look at the weekly production cast chart of who worked the week of July 10-14, 2000. The first page is the contract cast. The second page begins with the newest contract role, Brady Black, pending Kyle Lowder's casting before his first tape date, followed by the guest cast.

I wonder if they had the names wrong for baby EJ (Brenden and Dillon Fisher) on the cast chart? Beth's Days of Our Lives Page says baby EJ was played by triplets named Dillon, Vincent and Avalon Ragone. Dillon and Vincent (boys) mainly played baby EJ, but occasionally Avalon (a girl) would be used if the boys were sleeping, cranky, etc.

Here's a backstage picture of the kiddies taken during one of John and Marlena's wedding.

The twin girls on the far left played Belle, then the next set of girl twins played Abby, the dark-haired twins in the middle played Will, with the dark-haired twins on the far right who played Brady. They are holding the boy triplets (Dillon and Vincent) who played EJ. The girl triplet, Avalon, wasn't in the picture.

Days wouldn't have the budget to have 5 sets of twins/triplets on the set at the same time these days.

Here's a picture of all 3 Ragone babies, celebrating their first birthday at the studio on 11/1/1997, with their parents and Eileen Davidson (Kristen/Susan/etc.). The caption says Eileen is holding Avalon (the girl triplet), with their dad holding Dillon and their mom holding Vincent.

The Fisher twins (on the cast chart) played John Thomas Brady, the baby in the baby switch storyline with Zack Brady. He's the baby who left town with Barb and Glen Reiber.

Baby EJ moved to England with Susan and Edmund when the characters were all written off the show in 1998. He returned as an adult (James Scott) in 2006.

Ahhh, was thinking of the wrong baby John and completely missed the date on the cast chart.
