HORTON ORNAMENT 2023 DEBUT: VICTORIA

Was so busy getting the end-of-the-year rankings tallied up, I forgot to post the new Victoria ornament photo. Thanks as always to "Days" for the nice close-ups of the ornaments!

Looks like whoever created Holly's ornament and Steven's new ornament last year made this one. The writing style on the names seems similar.

I'm sorry, but I think it's an ugly ornament for Victoria, all that black does not say Merry Christmas Little Darling to me.

It looks like a 6th grader painted it.

Using black for the banner with her name was an odd choice for a baby's ornament.

I'm also surprised the ornament finally made for Holly last year (that just appeared on the tree) doesn't match the style of Daniel's, Melanie's and Parker's, which were all done in similar swirls (since they tend to somewhat match parent/child/family ornaments).

Charlotte's and Victoria's ornaments look like they used the same base ornament to create them, a frosty silver.

Yes, I agree that the black banner for a baby, or anyone, really, is not festive.

I probably would've done a blue hat on the middle snowman and a blue or red banner with white lettering. But that's just me. I like the snowman concept, but the black hat/banner is just kind of jarring for a baby's ornament, when you consider how bright and cheerful the other Horton babies' ornaments tend to be.

Maybe it's foreshadowing on how "Sami like" Victoria will be next year when she's at Salem University using AI to write all her papers.

JS, your Xander ornament is far better than any of these. If you opened a custom ornament shop in the Town Square, you’d be swamped with business.
