The ladies of the Mary Tyler Moore show reunite with Betty White, supposedly their old bowling team, where they named themselves GLOB...(Gorgeous Ladies of Bowling), lol, who have not seen each other in years.

Mary Tyler Moore (who is having a hard time with diabetes), Valerie Harper (who had just announced she had terminal brain cancer), Cloris Leachman, (outrageous as always, they had to tone her down), Georgia Engel (who plays on the show as Elka's friend, Mamie Sue, and of course Betty White.

Hot in Cleveland is on the TVLand Channel...this is Wed. Sept. 4th.

I was disappointed the women weren't on longer since the TV schedule said
an hour. I didn't know it was two shows.

It was an interesting episode. Before the show, I remembered how the
their old show ended each week with the MTM logo (the cat). I wondered
about that. At the end, sitting in the window there it was. That's when I
almost had to use my tissue :)
 
I, too, got misty eyed when I saw the cat at the end. I loved the references to their former characters but also thought this episode deserved an hour (although I wish the season finale was also an hour, great cliffhangers). Mary Tyler Moore looked quite ill, I felt so sorry for her. I thought Valerie Harper looked dynamite, and Cloris Leachman, amazing. I'm glad they were able to do this episode. Depending on everyone's cable providers, TVLand On Demand is available for the most current episodes.
 
I just checked. TV Land has both episodes from that day up.

What a surprise to see George Hamilton. He still has his
tan. Do you think his son is Dr Dan :D
 
That was an awesome episode loved the kitty at the end ...meow :)
