Kristian Alfonso's (Hope) son left on airplane

This is soooooooooooo scary.....Sorry this happened to her and her son....ShaSha
 
WOW! I am shocked that United actually tweeted her back. They are one of the worst airlines on social media.

Sounds like her son is ok but I hope she goes after them. This is unacceptable and heads need to roll.
 
Isn't United the same company that let an inappropriate (pornographic) picture get tweeted by their account a few months ago?
 
My son had the same thing happen last summer, the crew never picked him up at the gate and he missed his connection, then the next 2 flights got cancelled for mechanical issues. He made it to me on the last flight of the night and I was told if I drove to Chicago (where he was stranded) they would not release him to me.

He was 11- united airlines

There could be endless reasons why he was flying as an unaccompanied minor; he had his godparent picking him up at his destination or who knows what would have happened to the poor kid. He could have been left alone in the plane overnight! If those doors would have been closed up for the night who knows!

Apparently they made that one tweet requesting Kristian direct message them with details. She did and then she says she never heard anything back. This is horrendous customer service by United Airlines.
 
Off topic but I hate United. 2 years ago I was delayed for 4 hours at Chicago O'Hare with little to no announcements. We finally board the plane, the last flight of the night, to be told that there was no pilot. About 45 minutes later a pilot shows up and as they are getting ready to shut the doors, the flight attendant says oh by the way we are now going to Newark as we've missed curfew at LaGuardia. About half the plane got off immediately. That's a big deal unless you live in Manhattan or NJ. 2 hours and a $200 taxi ride home from Newark, I was home at around 3am. My boss had the nerve to ask why my taxi was so much when she was the one who had told me not to deplane and spend an extra night in Chicago which would have been cheaper.

Back to topic. I hope Kristian Alfonso (Hope) uses her celebrity to make some noise up the United ranks. Completely unacceptable.
 
Oh, my gosh, last month my daughter had to change planes at Chicago O'Hare, up to Duluth. For some unknown reason, the flight was cancelled, and one scheduled for a few hrs. later was cancelled as well, (no reason given) Flights to Minneapolis were full, so she ended up renting a car, driving the 8 hrs. up here. NO EXPLANATION from United, nor any offer of putting up in a hotel/motel for the night to take a flight in the a.m. Yep, United.

Not be picky but her last name is Alfonso not Alphonso. The thread title is wrong.
