Max wants to talk with Maggie about his visit to Abby in NY, but Maggie lets him know in no uncertain terms that she does not trust him, he is a player, and for a 24 yr old to spend the night in the room of an 18 yr. old is not appropriate. Later Max talks to Abby, telling her they should cool it, and just be friends.
Nick's boss is still searching for the hairbrush. Nick had already confessed to Abby that he took the brush and they have a heart to heart about it, with Abby advising him to put it back. When he goes off with his boss to search the vault, she confronts Chelsea. They go back and forth, with Abby talking of how she is using Nick, still lying, and only caring about herself. Chelsea wises up that not only did Nick tell Abby about the brush, he still has it.....and that Abby knew all along about Nick & Billie. She is angry with Abby, calling her a liar, too, along with Nick. Abby leaves, and when Nick returns, Chelsea asks him outright about the brush. His silence is her answer. She runs off.
Gabby is doing something in the closet with all the baby things in it, when Shawn arrives, telling Gabby she can come with them to Australia. She hugs him......for a long time. He breaks it up, and makes sure she understands that once there, they each go their own way. Duck has brought Belle some kiddie books he found, & she wonders why no reply to their letter to Roman. Duck lets her know, that no letter went out from there to a Police Commander, he would remember it. Belle goes to Gabby's room, and brings up the letter, telling them both how odd they did not get a reply, and what Duck said. Gabby claims it might have fallen behind the bar (she tore it up, remember?) and she will go look. She leaves, Belle tells Shawn what Duck said, and how she has already been warned by Duck that Gabby is after him.
The patients in the psych ward are so happy about the pizzas arriving, but Foley is not happy about having to pay for them. Everyone has a field day, enjoying the food, and Steve is still being the MC, boosting morale. In comes Foley, all ready to break up the party, and ready to smack Steve with his billy club, but Dr. Kraft comes in, stopping him, and sending him out, telling him he will be reimbursed. Now she confronts Steve, telling him it is over. That she has been removed from his case (awwww, I like Dr. Kraft)because he has shown no improvement from her course of treatment. Her litany of "higher ups" making the decision sounds like outside forces at work (wanna bet it is EJ AGAIN! Ugh!)Steve mentions Marlena, but Dr. Kraft says she is private practice and this is a state hospital. She has been transferred to the 5th floor, and will be treating children now. One can see Steve feels bad about this. She leaves, and in comes Foley, scattering all the patients back to their rooms, except for Steve. Another goon orderly has come in, locking both doors. They are on either side of Steve, evidently intending to teach him a lesson.
