TONS OF "DAYS" HISTORY UNCOVERED IN NEWLY-FOUND WEEKLY SYNOPSES! DAILY HIGHLIGHTS FOR MORE THAN 400 EPISODES FROM 1966-1970 WILL SOON BE ADDED TO THE ARCHIVE...

"Days" history fans are in for a real treat in the near future. I was recently able to find more than 80 weeks of "Days" storyline highlights that were issued to newspapers from 1966-1970. In addition to those storyline details already posted on my archive, this now means that daily highlights for almost 40 percent of the daily episodes aired from 1966-1970 will now be available for fans to read, the most complete record of "Days" ever online for the earliest years of the show. For now, here's the storyline details for December 27-December 31, 1965:

I don't think back in'65 there was the capability among many viewers to tape shows....so unless Days itself decides to make some CDs available.......I doubt it. Every once in a while, they will do a "flashback" scene from "the old days", usually black & white.

Hopefully someday, Sands of Time. I have most of November 1965, and some from 1966 (through the years, people have obtained "kinescopes" which is what TV stations used to "tape" a copy of a show back in the 1960's...they'd point a camera at a TV screen and tape the show on kinescope, so that's why some of these episodes exist in black & white; and those people have since transferred copies of the kinescopes to videotape or DVD) but then there's not much available until the Marlena edits which are posted on YouTube from 1976. The Corday archives does have a complete copy (all in color) of all the episodes though, so they do exist in a vault.
