New Downton Abbey movie

I don't know why the new Downton Abbey movie is being shown so fast via streaming. The movie is out
on DVD next month. Maybe they're doing because some people aren't going to the movies yet.

Peacock is showing the 2nd movie on June 24. Peacock is showing the series and the first movie too.
 
I think that the primary audience for the Downton Abbey Movie trends older, they are trying to get it out there to those who want to watch. They can get close to the same amount of money if they stream it on various sites than the DVD rental. It may be all about the "Benjamin's" (money)
 
I think they released it early due to coronavirus scares, especially with the new BA.2 variant.
