pig PICKING
We used to have an annual Pig Picking at my old church...it's a gathering of people for a meal, normally an entire pig on the grill and ya literally pick off what ya wanna eat! It has over the years become more of a pulled pork bbq and pot luck type meal...but still called Pig Picking for the gathering. Sometimes we would have it at a local state park, with worship service outside so that anyone could stop and praise God with us. Wonderful memories I made at these gatherings growing up.
