New writer

Chris Dunn has tweeted he began his new job at Days this month. He had previously written for Days for about 5 or 6 years, ending in 2015. Recently, he was writing for Y&R. No idea if this is an addition, or a replacement for one of the breakdown or dialogue writers.

Won't matter much as long as Ron C. is still head writer and the one coming up with all of the story lines / plots.

Not to mention we won't see any of his work till Memorial Day and by then he could be gone......

Yeah whether this is good news or not depends on the writer's experience and position (and also whether this is being announced as he's being hired, or shortly before his work is to start airing).
