Prayers for my brother in law, Jimmy

I spent the weekend with my Sister, Friday night my brother in law had a heart attack. He is in poor health and has already had a couple of heart attacks and a stroke. He is having an exploratory procedure this morning to assess his existing stints and the current damage. They have a surgeon on stand-by should open heart surgery be required.

Your prayers would be appreciated very much!

Sending thoughts and prayers your way. Heart catheterizations and open heart surgery are very common these days, as scary as it sounds. It sounds like he is already in very capable hands since they are being proactive.

Thanks Heather4CU - as my sister and I said all weekend - it's not our first rodeo

His health has been declining for awhile now. Praying he is strong enough for whatever they find. He just turned 60.

A friend of mine is in his mid-60s and just had his aortic valve replaced a couple weeks ago. He is doing great now.

Thanks for the prayers - they put in 2 stints. We are all surprised because they said they would not do any more stints on him. He is on disability, makes me wonder if that had anything to do with it.

My sister just stopped by - if all goes well he'll go home tomorrow.

Mel.....my friend's husband not only had by-pass surgery, but has 8 stents as well. It is amazing to me. And the man bowls in 2 or 3 different leagues ( I think now in his 70s). Am glad Jimmy is coming home, and doing fine. Bless him.
