Maybe an odd question.

Does anyone know the history of the religions of the families in Salem? I always saw Catholicism mostly represented but I noticed that Alice's Horton's funeral was conducted (so they said) by a "Pastor" and not a priest and I heard Maggie make a reference to the Book of Common Prayer (Anglican). I always figured everyone on soaps were Catholic until proven otherwise lol (no offense by that, I'm Catholic myself).

Does anyone know?

As far as I have known in the past, the Horton family was Protestant, the Brady family was Catholic.

The "head priest" in an individual Catholic church/parish is also called Pastor... maybe they were being extra formal? Ours just goes by Father. Maybe Alice is Protestant though.

If i remember correctly, the Horton's ere episcopalan (? spelling) part of the reason for the controversy of Marie becoming a nun. I have a DOOL history book here somewhere and will look it up.
