I don't know how many here are Star Trek fans.

Tonight CBS will start showing the first season of Discovery at 9 Central.

I didn't watch it on CBS Access since you had to pay. I was able to watch first and
second seasons on DVD from the library.

Star Trek: Discovery Season 1 to Air on CBS

Discovery and her crew will debut on CBS on September 24, at 10pm.

I watched the first 2 seasons on Netflix.

CBS is airing it now because they don't have enough other new shows / episodes ready to air.

I have Netflix and it wasn't shown on the US feed. Did you watch a different
countries feed?

Third season Discovery starts soon so they want more viewers for that.

Nope. Got it on DVD. I kept both streaming and DVD Netflix since everything isn't available on their streaming service.

Amazon Prime seems to be about 3 to 4 months behind Netflix so I occasionally only watch a few of the Amazon original series there.
