boy did they ruin Nicole and Eric.... knowing Greg Vaughn/Eric was leaving they went ahead and married them...... why??

Makes you wonder, doesn't it? Did they think they were making the Eric/Nicole fans a "happy every after" wedding........but then rip it away when they send him back to Africa? They did no favors to the viewers, the characters, the actors, the show itself.
