Poirot, I think the Mary Tyler Moore show was what gave Betty White a big step up in her career, but I didn't ever watch that show.
Kat, thanks for the link. It seems to be the same information I saw when I had looked before. I saw the title, "Life With Elizabeth," and the timing would have been right. (We first got tv in 1954). But it doesn't sound familiar to me. Maybe I've just forgotten or perhaps I'm confusing her with some of the other early shows/actresses. I liked several of those old ones: My Little Margie, with Gail Storm; Our Miss Brooks, with Eve Arden, and others. It's been way too long for me to remember much detail about any of them.
