Roman is talking with Hattie, who wants a Pub Burger & fries, cannot stand whatever food the hospital is providing. She is getting out of hand, starts threatening to just get out of the bed, leave, etc. Roman warns her about convincing Marlena’s children she is their mother, etc. and reminding her she just got out of a coma. He leaves to get burger, runs into Belle, who has flowers and insists on going in to see her mom. Roman tries to dissuade her, to no avail, she promises not to stay long.

John & Kayla are with Marlena, vitals strong, tried to wean her off ventilator, but she was unable to breather on her own. Roman comes in, they all talk of only having a small window to get Marlena back, John has been talking to her, urging her to come back to them. Roman tells of the problems, Hattie getting antsy at being cooped up, won’t be able to keep her under control. Belle insisted on going in, John will go take care of things.

Jennifer is on phone with Eric, he tells where everyone is, needs to get some air, he is coming over. She says good, they have to talk. She hangs up, Eve arrives, they argue big time about Jen telling Eric the truth about why & how Nicole left. Eve pulls out all the stops, brothers just reunited, Eric has his mom & brother in hospital, will leave Jen, she is best for him, will cause brothers to battle, Brady will break up with Eve, Eric will leave Jen. Finally Jen says, o.k. she won’t tell.

Chloe comes to Brady’s room with cookies, figured he had a bad time. She wants relationship advice. They chat away, he fills her in on Marlena waking up, Paul’s long road to recovery. Chloe remembers her road, could not have got thru it all and recovered if not for Brady. She tells him about Lucas, Bonnie’s claim, the paternity test, she is worried about Lucas maybe having a set back. She is worried, Parker is a handful, and now this baby, not what she was expecting. Not sure. Brady knows he has been a dud with his relationships the past couple of years, is so happy now, Brady promises to be there for Lucas, to take him to meetings if needed, etc. She leaves, Eve comes in, all happy, saying it is because she has him. Kiss, kiss, and it is obvious where they will be headed soon.

Lucas shows up at Adrienne’s, some awkward chit chat, he finally tells her about his romp with Bonnie, thinking she was Adrienne, not remembering, but evidently Bonnie got pregnant, the whole shebang. Adrienne is taken aback at the idea Bonnie had his baby, but paternity test confirmed. Now Lucas wants her to drop charges against Bonnie, explaining he cannot take custody, Bonnie hid the baby, won’t tell him, unless charges dropped. Adrienne goes over all the misery she suffered in the prison when Bonnie took over her life, is very reluctant. He pleads, she is very reluctant.

Lucas meets up with Chloe, all smiles, took some doing but Adrienne finally agreed. He is going to get his daughter.

Belle is with Hattie, who is not all that pleased to see her, doesn’t like the flowers, asks if that is the I tried to kill my mother bouquet. (for someone who claims she is expert at imitating Dr. Evans, and promising Roman she will do a good job, since she did John & Marlena wrong, Hattie is really bad at it) Belle is rather taken aback at the attitude, Hattie even telling her next time bring gladioli, her favorite, but Belle says lilacs were always her favorite. John comes in, and runs interference, talking of how Marlena has been out of it for so long, is just not herself yet. Hattie agrees, then starts talking of how she had so looked forward to the day, and with big grin, says she doesn’t want to wait any longer, wants to get married today, right now. John is at a loss for words, Belle is smiling, Hattie says they all need a group hug, and they do. John is not a happy camper.

Eric arrives at Jen’s, big kiss, but she looks uncomfortable. Says she has something to tell him, should have done it long ago, he should know. I have been lying to you.

Now Lucas wants her to drop charges against Bonnie, explaining he cannot take custody, Bonnie hid the baby, won’t tell him, unless charges dropped.
This is so ridiculous. Have the writers forgotten that Bonnie was serving time for killing her husband (since she took the blame for Mimi killing him), plus whatever extra time she'd get for breaking out prison?

@JS.......Adrienne does bring up that point,...Lucas responds that the prison is so overcrowded, that some sort of "deal" could be attained in re: that.
Gotta say, Salem is one amazing town for the guilty staying out of prison.........Bet there a few in prison currently somewhere else (Dr. Baker comes to mind) who wish they were in Salem's prison and it's cushy get out of jail free options.

Those prisons must be really crowded when a person guilty of murder and escape can get an early release. And if Bonnie gets out, so should all the other incarcerated Salemites. How about a gala Town Square welcome back to Salem party for Dr. Baker, Gus, Vargas, Ian McAllister, and Little Joey. And batty Hope ought to be told to give up her attempt to frame Ben because even if he's convicted, there won't be any room for him in prison. As for other characters, things aren't too sane either.

Roman: He admits that he "busted out" Hattie? He did say that he was allowed to transport Hattie to a new prison. If so, why aren't the authorities rushing into the Pub to ask him why she never showed up there?

Jenny: This one never learns. Slamming the door in Eve's face can't be hard, but Jen-Jen never seems to master this skill.

Lucas: He doesn't have to play footsie with conniving Bonnie. If Lucas is the father and Bonnie is in custody, he has a right to the child. If she's hiding her from him (shades of EJ's Sydnapping), no matter how crowded the prisons are supposed to be, Bonnie will be sent back for kidnapping.

Well...on a scale of "Murderess Hope is Commissioner" to "Possessed by the Devil", this ranks somewhere around "André bought a pardon from the Governor for multiple attempted killings."
And let's not forget how Nicole blackmailed the governor to avoid serving any more time for kidnapping Baby Sydney or how trigger-happy Hope got a quick release from prison because the authorities were bamboozled into thinking that she "only" attempted to murder Stefano.

Thanks, Poirot.

I enjoyed Hattie again.

I laughed when Nicole told Brady she came for relationship advice. He
admitted he's not one to give advice.

Roman didn't do a good job keeping Belle out of the room. Maybe he
just wanted some alone time with Marlena.

Hopefully, Jen is finally going to tell Eric the truth about why Nicole left town.

I'm surely not forgetting - I just didn't think those two things were more extreme than my endpoints. (Though that's surely subjective.) I also haven't forgotten how Hope was forgiven for the crimes of her "night time" drowsy self, because she broke up a prison organ ring, or that she skated on several assaults during her time "programmed" to be Gina.
