Abby talks to Kayla about Ben figuring Chad got her job back because he wanted to get her back. She sees Kayla thinks the same, reminding her that Chad seems to like pushing Ben's buttons, Ben is trying to support himself, while Chad has no worries about that. Now they both go to see Paul, who has made a large donation to the PT dept. anonymously. Abby thanks him for that, talks a bit of how Dr. Jonas is the best, learns Paul injured himself playing baseball, but she has no clue about him. She thanks him again, leaves.
Rafe spots Jordan & Chad kissing, says nothing, tho Chad spots him. Rafe just goes behind the gate, as Chad and Jordan says a few words, her admitting she is the one who kissed him, and she leaves. Rafe comes out, Chad begins his usual understating sticking of pins. Rafe says something about DiMeras, so Chad is right back with his one sister in jail for murder, his other was in jail for drug pushing, so what does that say about the Hernandez name. Rafe smiles, says he knows how Chad likes to push Ben's buttons, and he isn't falling for any of this. Just don't hurt Jordan.
Brady starts laughing at Theresa's announcement of her pregnancy, doesn't believe her, reminds her of all the lies she has told. Then really gets into how Theresa grabbed onto him, kept him drunk, high on drugs, had sex, etc. Really hurtful. Theresa says people call her a *bleep*, but he is one who has slept with Kristen, Madison, Chloe, Rafe's sister, and others, so don't get on your high horse with me. He wants a test, at the hospital, she agrees, calls Kayla to do it right now.
At the hospital, Kayla takes Theresa off for the blood test, Brady waits, Rafe shows up, sees Brady not in a good mood. Brady only says he has done dumb things, made bad choices, but this last one is something else. Theresa overhears, and when Rafe leaves, comes and joins Brady.
Ben runs into Sonny, tells him about chad getting Abby's job back for her, and he thinks in order to get her back. Sonny doesn't think so, Abby got a raw deal, Chad was really ticked at EJ when he first returned, so was just trying to help out. He has something he wants to show Ben, they take off. Seems Sonny had a friend with this apartment, who just moved out of town, it is furnished, the landlord says if Sonny vouches for Ben, it is all he needs, he can move in today. Ben is delighted. Later, he is unpacking things, wishing Abby was there, and knock, knock. There she is, bringing a housewarming gift.
Earlier, Jordan & Abby meet up at the hospital, talk a bit about Paul, Jordan promising to try and find out why he wants that donation to be anonymous. Jordan goes to see Paul, recognizes him because she is a huge baseball fan, she babbles about him blowing away her Sox team, wishes him well wherever he goes after his recovery, and assures him she is a tough drill sergeant with the therapy.
Hope meets up with Aiden, they are just going to have coffee, when Nicole comes up, wanting to convince Aiden to let her do a piece on "a professional moving to Salem". Seems Miles has noticed there have been a lot lately. Aiden refuses, she entreats, mentioning the death of his wife, he is emphatic, will not do the piece. She retreats, but Hope's time is now gone, she has to leave, but promises they will get together later. She leaves, Nicole returns, just to talk. She has been around, made a lot of mistakes in her time. Starting with her screen name. Aiden is puzzled, she says Misty Circle, and she made porn movies. Who hasn't seen a porn movie? She then goes on about having a miscarriage and stealing Sami's baby in it's place, another miscarriage where she accused Jennifer Deveraux of pushing her down the stairs causing her to lose it, only her baby was already dead. And of course, how she shredded evidence that would have helped and cleared Eric Brady. So, she knows full well that secrets have a way of coming out eventually, and when they do, it will be at the worst possible time, in the worst possible way. Something to think about. She leaves, Aiden ponders.
Meanwhile, Hope is at her laptop, evidently trying to decide if she should do a search on Aiden. Rafe comes in, startling her. They talk for a while, he heard about the divorce, sorry it got to that point, apologizes as none of his business, tho knows it has had to be hard on her and Ciara. He mentions hearing she was seeing Aiden. She nods, talks about how much of a jerk she thought he was initially, but that he really isn't. But is very private, and how she debated looking up info on him at first, then changed her mind. Rafe nods, he nearly did the same with Jordan, as he knew there was something that was in the past that still bothered her, but he decided not to. He gets up, leaves.
Hope sits at the laptop, then types in Aiden Jennings in the space on Ewe search. She sits and watches, nearly cancels, but doesn't. Then has a look of consternation on her face as the info appears.
We see it is a newpaper article, with Aiden's picture, and the headline "Aiden Jennings questioned in death of wife"..
