John Roman (Johnny) DiMera
Johnny DiMera is the son of Samantha Gene (Sami) Brady and Elvis John (EJ) DiMera. He has a twin half-sister, Alice Caroline (Allie) Horton, who was fathered by Lucas Horton. Johnny is named after his maternal step-grandfather, John Black and maternal grandfather, Roman Brady.
Born on October 23, 2007, Johnny was assumed to have been fathered by Lucas Horton. EJ DiMera had raped Sami Brady at the time the twins were conceived so he secretly had a DNA test done that eventually showed him to be the father of Johnny.
Because of the constant friction between his parents, Johnny’s custody has been in question for most of his young life. A year or so ago, his parents came to an equitable agreement regarding custody and it worked pretty well despite Sami’s reservations about having her son raised as a DiMera and being under the influence of Stefano DiMera.
In October, 2010, Sami obtained a court order preventing EJ from seeing the children because he was recently found to be behind the kidnapping of Johnny’s sister, Sydney Ann DiMera.
